Mum mortified after hiring Barbie for 5th birthday party without seeing photo

A mum was left rather red-faced after she hired her daughter's favourite fictional character to attend her fifth birthday party - but when Barbie arrived at her wide-eyed daughter's shindig, she was a totally different type of entertainer than she thought at first.

Julia, who posts on TikTok as @joolia_go0lia, explained that when she was a kid, her mum decided to hire her an entertainer who looked like Barbie, without seeing a picture, or fully understanding what type of entertainer she was. "My parents hired an adult entertainer for my fifth birthday party by accident", she admitted in the hilarious video.

She explained that she was getting ready to go and see the Barbie movie, so the memory had crossed her mind, and she said: "I just remembered that I had a Barbie-themed birthday party when I was five, and my mum said that she hired someone from the phone book." Julia then joked that she was "700 years old", explaining that "back then you would just look in the phone book for entertainers, and there was one for Barbie."

But when the woman turned up, they got more than they bargained for, as "she was a stripper", but "she played along, she did not take off her clothes", and Julia followed her around "thrilled" because Barbie had gone to her party.

"All of the parents there had a really good laugh", she admitted. Julia then explained that her mum was looking for proof that this happened, swearing that it actually did. She later uploaded another video saying that her mum had looked for "the receipts", but sadly couldn't find them.

But people in the comments found the situation hilarious, with one writing: "Probably one of the best parties she's been to! Free cake and no drunks!" Another agreed: "She was probably THRILLED to have that experience!" "Stripper Barbie is a gem", someone else praised, and a TikToker joked: "I bet she still talks about that day."
