Emmerdale fans go wild over 'forgotten' family link in surprise scene
Emmerdale fans were quick to react on Tuesday's episode as Victoria Sugden and Sarah Sugden shared a surprise scene together. Sarah is Victoria's niece as the latter's adoptive brother, Andy Sugden, is the father of Sarah. The two rarely share scenes together and on Tuesday Sarah joined Victoria at her work at the Hide Bistro to which Victoria joked she was Sarah's "favourite aunty".
Soap watchers were left surprised over the scene as they had forgotten about the duo's family link. Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Well hello me, Victoria and niece Sarah in a scene together #Emmerdale @emmerdale" with a different account adding: "Archie and Amelia are cousins which seems to be forgotten just like Victoria an aunt to Sarah and Jack #Emmerdale @emmerdale."
As well as Sarah, Victoria is also an aunty to Jack Sugden Jr, who is in Scotland with his and Sarah's mother, Debbie Dingle. Victoria also has nephew, Sebastian, who is the child of Robert Sugden and Rebecca White, and was last seen in 2019.

Viewers will recall that every year in October the show pulls out all the stops to deliver nail-biting storylines and stunts set across the week. The most recent super stunt week included the deadly 50th anniversary storm, where several villagers lost their lives.
Teasing the upcoming super soap week, actress Emma, 48, confirmed that her character Charity, who is Sarah's grandmother on the ITV soap, will be at the "centre" of it. Emma told Digital Spy: "I'm very excited! Some super soap weeks I don't manage to be part of, which is just the way it goes. So to be at the centre and for it to be quite a big storm brewing – not literally a storm, we've done that! I just know that it's going to be spectacular in one way or another and we're due to get the scripts shortly, but it's going to be quite big."

Soap fans will recall that Charity has been left heartbroken after discovering that her husband, Mackenzie Boyd, secretly fathered a child behind her back with Chloe Harris after a one-night stand. Charity ended things with Mackenzie, who has since pursued things romantically with Chloe. The three characters will be involved in the upcoming super soap week.
Teasing further details, Emma added: "I think the future will very much be about her confronting those issues, because it's left her quite broken. At the moment she's too broken to deal with anything, but she's just letting people know it's in her arsenal, it's there, it's not going away, it's not dying down. She was hoping very much for it to do that and it's not, it's got worse."
