Below Deck legend Captain Lee reunites with Kate Chastain for all-new Bravo show

Below Deck favourites Captain Lee and Kate Chastain are back together again on their latest show, Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate.

The captain and his former chief, Stew, left Below Deck in 2020 and 2023 respectively. They're now reuniting on their new show where they'll break down the biggest moments of the week on Bravo. The first episode airs on 14 August and will cover Bravo shows like the Real Housewives franchise, Below Deck: Down Under, Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, and more.

The latest press release for the series states: “The 'Stud of the Sea' is known for running his ship with a no-nonsense attitude, and for his salty one-liners. Lee is excited to reunite with his former Chief Stew Kate Chastain — on dry land — as they catch up on Bravo’s latest shows."

Kate joined Below Deck in season two, replacing Adrienne Gang as the Chief Stewardess. She left during season seven after she "retired from yachtie life," according to the Bravo website.

Captain Lee, full name Lee Rosbach, joined Below Deck in its first season in 2013. He stayed on for 10 seasons until it was finally announced he would be leaving the show in 2023. When speaking to the Sun Sentinel about the departure, the captain said: "I did not quit. I did not retire. I was just not invited back. I guess I can see their point of view. They really couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone on how my health was."

During his last season, Captain Lee had to be replaced by captain Sandy Yawn due to his ongoing "health issues." He also might have known this upcoming show with Kate was in development, as he also said: "We came to an agreement, and I’m going to be doing some things for them in the next year." But reassured fans he would love to return to the high seas on Below Deck if the show would have him.

When he announced to his crew that he would be leaving, the captain said: "I'm gonna go back to the States, get this straightened out and as soon as I do, I'll be on the first plane back here and tell whoever's on board to get the f**k off my boat."
