An Arnold Schwarzenegger fan remains committed to following in the footsteps of her bodybuilding hero, and doesn't care if her "big" muscles "turn men off". Former Playboy model Suzy Cortez has put aside racy photoshoots to instead pursue her bodybuilding champion dreams, and has her sights set on becoming the next Ms Olympia.

The fitness influencer and model hopes to be in fighting shape ahead of the next competition, which is set to take place in six months' time. In preparation, the 30-year-old keeps to an intense fitness regime, which includes completing 200kg squats and eating protein-packed food every three hours.

Suzy, who lives in São Paulo, Brazil, said: "My routine consists of a diet made specifically for my world bodybuilding wellness category. It has a high amount of carbohydrates and proteins.

"For example, rice, chicken and green salad, banana, oats, food supplements, and manipulated foods containing vitamins for muscle strengthening. My routine is dedicated to this 24 hours a day.

"When I wake up, I start by doing cardio exercise on an empty stomach. Then I do my pre-workout nutrition and training, followed by facial massage sessions and stretching."

The keen fitness buff, who has clocked up more than 1.5 million Instagram followers under the username @suzyacortez, has seven meals each day in a bid to stick to her goals and also makes sure to get eight hours of regulated sleep.

Suzy revealed: "My training lasts one hour and 30 minutes, with a lot of weight and a lot of intensity. I've been doing squats at 200kg at the moment and it just keeps increasing. Leg press is another very effective exercise for my category, I can pick up 500kg."

Although Suzy is very proud of her "big" muscles, she has previously found that they've "turned men off". Fortunately, she doesn't mind too much at all, and is able to see the funny side.

She continued: "I have a lot of funny stories about people's reactions to seeing me in person. Yes, I'm big. In fact, my muscles have already turned men off. They are not used to a woman their size."

As well as having to deal with such startled reactions, musclebound Suzy has also had to contend with what she refers to as "hot woman phobia" while at the gym, where other women have previously gossiped about her body.
