1000-lb Sisters fans hit out at Amy's 'lazy' husband for not helping with kids

As the latest edition of 1000-lb Sisters hits our screens, fans have shared their discontent at how Amy's husband acts around the house.

In a teaser clip uploaded to TLC's Instagram account prior to the show airing, the caption read: "Amy is learning to juggle two kids on #1000lbSisters."

The video shows Amy Slaton-Halterman, 35, having to deal with both crying children. As the cameras catch her trying to comfort the kids, the confessional sees her tell viewers: "It's really hard because they're just crying.

"Glenn is getting mad and wanting another bottle and Daddy ain't doing s***."

After awkwardly laughing at her comment, she continued: "Sometimes I feel like I got three kids."

Viewers then see hubby Michael sitting and eating while listening to the youngster's in distress.

The scene then returns to Amy still desperately trying to calm one of her tots while the rest of her friends and family sit in their camping chairs.

She eventually leaves the group to change the baby's nappy. "Everybody is having fun and having a good old time," she tells the camera.

"But I'm over here hot as hell, I just recuperated from surgery. I haven't had much sleep at all and Gage just won't stop crying."

Viewers keep getting to see Michael relaxing with his food while the youngster's crying is played over the top.

In the end, a disgruntled family member is forced to intervene to help a tearful Amy settle Gage. She admitted it was a tough situation to be in as she didn't know which of her kids she should devote her attention to to try and help.

And fans of the show were quick to hit out at Michael for his actions.

In the comments section of the post, one user wrote: "This makes me so mad that it took so long for someone to help her. Family needs to step up, especially the husband."

Another agreed, saying: "Her husband should be helping like sir either take the baby or take your older son and give your wife a break."

A third said: "Michael p***ed me off in this episode. Like 'sir, stop stuffing your face and get 1 of your kids!'"

Others tried to comfort Amy with words of encouragement. One follower commented: "Amy I wish you could see my comment. Hang in there love. Your feelings are valid and perfectly normal.

"You have 2 small babies, you're recovering from child birth, hormones are all over the place and with the lack of sleep this is all normal. You're a wonderful mom there will be good and bad days. You got this!!"
