Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is still not done in the summer transfer market despite already spending around £200 million this summer.

After the heartbreak of losing out in the Premier League title race to Manchester City last season, the Spanish boss put the foundations in place for another bid, as well as the club's return to the Champions League. The signings of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber are already over the line.

But despite the form of Aaron Ramsdale last season, the club are now being heavily linked with a big for Brentford keeper David Raya. We round up all the latest transfer news from the Emirates here.....

Arsenal learn David Raya valuation

It seems Arsenal will have to splash out £40 million to land Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.

Bees' boss Thomas Frank didn't shy away from addressing the speculation after his side’s 3-3 pre-season draw with Aston Villa, with the Dane outlining what he wants his club to charge: "All the links, all the hustle and bustle, and if it gets done we'll know it. I don't know too much," he said.

"I am not dealing with it... like everything it is a negotiation. I would love to get £40 million. He was one of the four best keepers in the Premier League last season. Declan Rice had one year left and was sold for £105 million. Harry Kane is being spoken of as £100 million plus. So for a keeper, at his best age [it's fair]. Good thing I am not negotiating!"

Gary Neville makes 'up for grabs' jibe at Gunners

Gary Neville has once again insisted Manchester United can finish above Arsenal in the Premier League, leaving fans unimpressed.

Neville annoyed Arsenal supporters in January when he backed Manchester City and United to usurp Mikel Arteta's side in the Premier League. And now, speaking to FourFourTwo about United's Premier League hopes, Neville said: "It’s all dependent on the budget. Under the owners the club has had, I think they’ll probably still finish in the top four, but I don’t think they’ll improve on it.

"If they got new owners and had £250m or £300m to spend, they’ve got a chance of going up to second. I do think they’ve got a chance of taking that spot off Arsenal - that’s up for grabs - but they’d have to spend well."

Blades on the brink of Trusty signing

Sheffield United have reportedly opened talks with Arsenal for £5 million defender Auston Trusty, according to the Daily Mail.

The Blades are pursuing a loan deal for the USA international who was at Birmingham City on loan last season. Arsenal would ideally prefer a sale for Trusty - as they need to raise funds to offset their summer spending and ease financial fair play concerns.

Trusty, 24, signed with the Premier League club in January 2022, but stayed on loan with the Colorado Rapids until July of that year. He's yet to make a first team appearance for the Gunners.
