Shopper stuns with impressive birthday freebies haul - and it's not just food
A savvy shopper has stunned bargain hunters after showing off just how many birthday freebies she collected on her big day. The expert freebie finder, who posts on TikTok as @gracebooth97 collected everything from sweet treats to skincare before sharing the results online.
In a video that's since amassed over 500,000 views, Grace explained she'd set out on a mission to find "everything you can get free on your birthday here in England" - and it's to see why her results impressed thousands. To start the day, Grace headed to Boost where she opted for a £7 mint-flavoured juice - not that she paid £7.
Next, she visited Hotel Chocolat to make the most of her birthday reward - a £5 voucher - before making her way to Lidl, where she was given the choice of a free cookie or a free doughnut. Grace opted for a cookie. "It was so flipping good," according to the birthday girl. It was also a clever choice, as she later picked up a free doughnut from Krispy Kreme.
But the haul did not stop there. Grace's next location, a local Costa Coffee, was out of the free birthday cake slice she was expecting, but she was gifted a carrot cake instead. After that she made her way to Gail's, and, after a brief technical issue, she enjoyed a chocolate almond croissant.
Her next free treat came from Greggs, and then it was time for Grace to head to her final stop of the day, The Body Shop, where she redeemed a £5 birthday reward.

Celebrating her success in her caption, Grace wrote: "BIRTHDAY FREEBIES ARE MY FAVE THING !!!!! (Also they normally last the whole week of your bday, so don't have to get them all on the same day)." It's also worth noting there are various steps you need to take to collect each freebie, such as signing up to the relevant rewards app or providing photo ID, so it is well worth checking ahead in advance.
Regardless, Grace's video is sure to inspire many, not least because commenters shared further recommendations. "You can also get a free drink at Starbucks," one person pointed out, and another said: "Not many people know this but you can also get any 5 inch cake from Lola." Someone else wrote: "Bar burrito do free stuff!" and another commented: "You can also get a free burrito at Tortilla."
