Paddy Pimblett told his "stupid haircut" will be knocked off in UFC call-out
UFC star Paddy Pimblett received his latest call-out as Jonny Parsons threatened to knock hiss "stupid haircut" off.
Parsons called out Pimblett after winning his UFC debut by knockout against Danny Roberts at The O2 arena in London. Parsons lived up to his nickname of 'sluggernaut' by outlasting Roberts in a back-and-forth fight, stopping the Brit in the final much to the disappointment of the London crowd.
"Hey Paddy! You wanna slug or not? I'm the sluggernaut," Parsons said in his post-fight interview. "Let's go! I'll go down to lightweight and I'll knock that stupid haircut off your head, let's go." Parsons competes at welterweight and would need to drop down a weight class to face Pimblett, who steps on the scale at 155lb for his fights.

Pimblett is currently sidelined with an ankle injury he sustained in his controversial fight against Jared Gordon at UFC 282 last December. Fans labelled the result as "one of the worst UFC decisions ever" as Pimblett also admitted he made mistakes in the fight that he wants to correct upon his return to the octagon.
Logan Paul and KSI announce new partnership with UFC president Dana WhiteA fight between Pimblett is highly unlikely to take place, especially as 'The Baddy' will unlikely fight until March of next year. Speaking at a Q&A earlier this week, Pimblett said: "I want to fight towards the back end of this year but if I can't then it will probably be here [The O2 arena] in March next year. You're going to see a different version of me, I won't be going into another fight injured, that's for sure.
I'm going to get that sorted so I go into the next fight 100 per cent and I won't have any excuses after it, because I had a few after my last fight. "When you have a couple of months out of the gym, the first thing you want to do is just back in there," Pimblett said. "I can do a little bit of everything now: striking, MMA and jiu-jitsu. I know my right calf isn't as strong as my left calf, so the first opportunity I'm getting I'll go to the PI [Performance Institute] and do some work on it with the professionals."
Pimblett is known for his post-fight food binges as he piles on around 50lb by scoffing junk food. The Scouser does want to maintain a lighter weight ahead of his next fight, as he said: "I'm going to try and keep my weight down," he added. "I never want to try and go above 86kg again. I'm hovering around 84kg at the moment, but it's just much better and much healthier."
