Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec are set to go through a major milestone ahead of their first baby's arrival.

The dancing duo recently announced they are expecting their first child together, but it looks as though they have another major life change before their bundle of joy arrives.

The pair are going to move house before the little one gets here, leaving London to settle down in Cheshire.

They are going to leave their flat in the capital to head up north to raise their family.

Aljaž has described the north as reminding him of his home of Slovenia due to being "so green".

Speaking to Hello!, he said: "It's something both of us have craved for a while. The pace of life in London is too fast and we couldn’t see us functioning here as a family. It’s so green up north, it reminds me of Slovenia."

They will also be moving closer to fellow Strictly Come Dancing stars Gorka Marquez and his fiancée Gemma Atkinson who live in Cheshire too.

Janette said: "It will be so nice to have Uncle Gorka and Auntie Gemma nearby."

Aljaž and Janette recently announced they were expecting their first baby together, after two years of fertility struggles.

Janette, who now presents Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two, said she feared her dream of becoming a mum was looking even more unlikely as she approached her 40 birthday this year.

After talking to doctors, the 39-year-old arranged to start IVF treatment but made the shock discovery she was already pregnant.

Sharing the incredible news for the first time, Janette said: "For the past couple of years we hadn’t been using protection but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us to do.

"I turn 40 later this year and the NHS offers really good services to women under 40. The doctor said that as soon as I got my period we would start injections, but my period never came," she told Hello magazine.

Janette broke the news to Aljaž by giving him a positive pregnancy test, after first speaking to her doctor to confirm the exciting news was true.
