The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Lewis was left fuming at Ryanair staff after a fierce clash over her son’s pushchair.

The former reality TV star, 32, detailed the shocking experience she had at Stansted Airport in a post on social media, and told her followers she was left “upset and angry” after a run-in with a crew member.

Chloe tried to board her flight with son Beau, 3, after she was told by staff at the check-in desk she could take her pushchair onto the Ryanair plane as hand luggage.

However, she was met with an “aggressive” airline employee, who shouted at Chloe and refused to let her board the plan with the folding buggy, leaving her humiliated.

“Never do this but cannot believe how I have just been treated/ spoken to by a worker @ryanair,” she said in a post on Instagram.

“Last year Ryanair wouldn't let me take my YoYo pram on as hand luggage, which resulted in them losing my pram,” Chloe explained, adding that she had been trying to get money back from the airline for months.

The TV star said she had written to the airline “many times” to get compensation for the pushchair, which retails for more than £380, but had so far been ignored.

“So today I asked one lovely worker if I could take the pram on with me. He said of course you can try, that's fine,” Chloe recalled, but then the situation took a turn for the worse.

“His supervisor ... stormed towards me all guns blazing, shouting and being so aggressive towards me. Everyone around me couldn't believe what they were hearing,” she continued.

“I was so shocked and in disbelief that someone who hadn't even had a previous conversation with me could be so vile. I got on the plane upset & really angry,” the mum-of-one shared.

Chloe, who first found fame on the ITV show in 2015, apologised for complaining in the post, but wanted to highlight the customer service at the airline so it wouldn’t happen again.

“Sorry for the rant. But people shouldn't get away with these things. So here I am,” she added.

Mirror Online has contacted Ryanair for comment.
