Ashley Roberts fears she's been snubbed from Nicole Scherzinger's wedding
Ashley Roberts fears she's been snubbed from Nicole Scherzinger's wedding, saying "I haven't got an invite".
Appearing on her usual slot on Heart Breakfast, Ashley talked about her fellow Pussycat Dolls bandmember's upcoming wedding. But it seems that she might not even get to go as it's been said that Nicole allegedly isn't inviting her bandmates.
Speaking on Heart Radio, Ashley asked: "You know Nicole Scherzinger, from The Pussycat Dolls."
Jamie Theakston then joked that he thought he remembered her before Ashley announced "she's engaged" – following her engagement to Thom Evans.
However, it was then that Ashley revealed she didn't know if she would be able to go to the special day as she hasn't been invited yet.
Amanda Holden sizzles in red hot lingerie ahead of Valentine's Day in racy shoot"Yeah we did know that…, but apparently, I found out in the media that I might not be invited to the wedding," Ashley explained.
She later added: "I got a little media sheet this morning with all the stories that are happening and it’s like 'Nicole has said that she’s not going to have The Pussycat Dolls at the wedding' none of her bandmates, not just me, she didn’t single me out, but I actually don’t know how true this is… I haven’t got an invite."
Despite being disappointed if this is the case, Ashley said if she doesn't get invited she would "survive".
Nicole, 45, announced her engagement to Scottish rugby player, Thom Evans in June.
The Pussycat Dolls broke up in 2010 after reports that the other band members were unhappy that Nicole was seen as the lead singer. In 2019, they tried to reform the band and released the song React. However, their reunion tour was later cancelled.
Following Nicole's happy news, it has been claimed she won't be inviting any of her former Pussycat Dolls to her upcoming nuptials.
A source told Heat: "Nicole doesn't want to invite one and not another, only for those missing out to start causing trouble. There's so much toxic energy from that part of her life, she doesn't want to bring any of it into her dream wedding."
"There's still so much bad blood there, it would be reckless to chance any of them turning up to the wedding," the source added. "Nicole feels unfairly painted as the villain just because she was the better singer of the group and she doesn't have time for that pettiness anymore."
