YouTuber Grace Helbig shares breast cancer diagnosis after finding 'weird lump'
YouTuber Grace Helbig has revealed that she's been diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer.
In an eight-minute video upload, the 37-year-old candidly spoke about her diagnosis, admitting that it was "very shocking and surreal".
"So I do not know how to do this, so we're just going to do this: I have breast cancer," she started in the video which now has 222,000 views.
"I know. It's very shocking, it's very surreal, it doesn't sound real, but it's real. I've had a decent amount of time to process and start the process, and so I'm finally ready to share with you."
She was told by doctors that she had "triple positive breast cancer," which means she was reassured by medical professionals that her cancer is "super treatable," and "highly beatable."

She then detailed her treatment plan, which would consist of six round of chemotherapy followed by surgery and hormonal therapy. Grace added that she was diagnosed a month ago after going to her annual gynaecologist appointment.
She confessed that months before, she had noticed a "weird lump in my left breast" that she was reluctant to bring up to doctors.

"And thank God that I listened to that little voice inside of me that finally got the courage to bring it up to her because she also thought it was abnormal."
"So get those lumps checked! and do not be afraid to ask your doctor what you might think is a stupid question," she urged her fans who took to the comments to share their support.
"My heart literally dropped at the title… i’m so glad it is treatable, and i hope you get well soon," one wrote.
