Dumped Love Island star Charlotte Sumner tells which couples are 'genuine'
Charlotte Sumner has left the Love Island villa and has explained which of the remaining contestants are being most genuine.
The 30-year-old dumped Islander exited the show on Friday night following a public vote - and co-star vote - and was shown the door to the villa alongside 21-year-old André Furtado.
After the leaving ceremony, Charlotte has explained which of the remaining contestants she thinks are being the most genuine.
And she has also explained which of the couples she is rooting for the most - even though her own Love island dream was dashed by her co-stars.
Asked who she thinks is being most genuine in the villa, Charlotte said: “I think obviously Molly and Zach, they’re genuine.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and Tanyel“I just feel like they spend a lot of time together and when they’re together they just look comfortable. Whereas I felt awkward at times and didn’t know what to talk about as our personalities didn’t really match.”
She continued: “Ella and Tyrique, I think they’re genuine. I feel like he’s had a couple of tests but he’s always gone back to her. He’s been flirty but he’s given the reasons.
“I think he’s really into Ella and his feelings will continue to grow with her.”
And she added: “Jess and Sammy it’s still early days but I feel like they are genuine and have a connection.”
Charlotte and André were dumped from the villa after a public vote made them vulnerable to getting cut from the cast.
But it was down to the other Isalnders to make the final decision over who should go home - with Catherine Agbaje and Leah Taylor remaining while Charlotte was sent packing.
However, she is not bitter about the outcome.
She said: "It wasn’t a shock I got chosen to leave. I didn’t think the girls would send Catherine home because she was ‘day dot’. I knew it would be between me and Leah, so I thought they’d save Leah because she had more of a connection.
"I have no hard feelings at all. I had the best time and I’m so grateful."
Meanwhile, André also claimed to have no hard feelings when he was voted to leave over Sammy Root and Zach Noble.
Molly-Mae hints at showing baby in her first YouTube as she teases special videoHe declared: "It was a real shocker for me. Of course we know the saying ‘expect the unexpected’ has to be in our heads in the Villa, but we get caught up in just living in the moment day-to-day.
"When I came to the understanding I was among the vulnerable Islanders it wasn’t the best feeling. Catherine was also among the most vulnerable Islanders and in my mind I was thinking, ‘I definitely don’t want this to be the end of her experience, let alone mine as well'."
Love Island continues tonight at 9PM on ITV2 and ITVX.
