Love Island's Tasha spills on unseen recoupling before Casa Amor reunion

Love Island couple Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page are familiar with the twists and turns Casa Amor can bring to a romance.

The last series of the ITV2 dating show saw a memorable recoupling after Casa as both Tasha, 24, and Andrew, 27, choose to couple up with Casa Amor bombshells Billy Brown and Coco Lodge.

However, the pair soon realised their feelings for one another and have been going strong ever since.

After leaving the villa, the couple moved in together – with Andrew even gifting the blonde beauty a promise ring.

As Andrew and Tasha exclusive chatted with the Mirror, the former estate agent admitted: "It's much better being a viewer!"

Tasha also admitted in an interview in collaboration with Just Eat: "The recoupling is the worst part – it's so scary."

However, the pair have spilled some insider knowledge on the Casa Amor recoupling – as Tash even revealed the girls in the Casa Amor villa have a mini-recoupling before the main event.

Stunning model Tasha headed into the Casa Amor villa with the girls in her series – while the boys stayed in the main villa, just like the latest series.

Tasha explained the Islanders who head into Casa Amor are put together before they make their way back into the villa.

"All the girls are together," Tasha explained. "In our villa we did a mini recoupling with the Casa boys. So we already knew what decisions everyone had made and we were all together."

Meanwhile, as the couple spoke to the Mirror, they revealed the Casa Amour recoupling takes the longest to film.

Andrew explained: "It probably was the longest but it didn't feel the longest."

"Oh it did for me," Tasha responded as Andrew continued: "There was just so much happening. Usually when there's a recoupling you have to sit still or stand up for like hours without doing anything.

"I would say it's the longest but there was a lot going on!"

Tasha then added: "I was outside for a good two to three hours before I went in to do my bit so it is really long."

The loved-up couple revealed there is a feeling of "relief" in the villa after the recoupling is over. In their series the pair were seen soon gravitating back to one another despite choosing to get to know other people.

And it seems like a number of Islanders may follow in the footsteps of Andrew and Tasha this series.

Tash had some wise words of advice for the Love Island couples who opt to explore things with someone new as she told the Mirror: "Well, the thing is, it's hard because even if you come back with somebody else, there's probably a 90% chance you'll go back to couples that you're with.

Because sometimes – people have that saying you miss them more when you have time apart – But Casa Amor is not a normal situation, you get people thrown at you.

"I think my best advice is if you do go back and you do regret it, that's okay. You can go back to your other couple and sometimes you need to go through that and have realisations of how much that person means to you and how much you love that person."

She added: "You never know you never know like, you may go back to them but if you don't, that's absolutely fine as well – you might be happier with the other person you've found.

"So I think it hits you when you go to the main villa and you either regret it or you're like: 'Yeah I've made the right decision'. It can go either way really."
