Margot Robbie is Vogue Barbie as Ryan Gosling explains how she made him more Ken
Margot Robbie becomes Barbie's most glamorous iteration yet - Vogue Cover Barbie - for the new Summer issue of the fashion bible.
The Australian actress, 32, is set to play the doll in The Barbie movie that's set to be released on July 21 in the UK and US.
And she's got back into character for a new shoot as she posed in stunningly kitsch snaps for the magazine.
Wearing a pink tweed skirt suit and a fun pin badge featuring her own image, it looks like Barbie is playing a politician in one snap.
Another sees Margot don a diamante-encrusted cowboy hat and a fringed jacket as she lives out her Wild West fantasy.

Other pictures show Margot wearing a clutch of glamorous dresses and even reenacting the perfect Barbie foot - that balances on tiptoe even when she takes off her stiletto heels.

She also wears pink tweed to play Politician Barbie (Ethan James Green/Vogue)Margot's co-star Ryan Gosling, 42, who plays Ken in the upcoming movie joined for the accompanying interview.
The twice-Oscar nominated actor spoke about working with Margot on set and says she helped bring a cheeky side to his portrayal of Ken Doll.
"She left a pink present with a pink bow, from Barbie to Ken, every day while we were filming," he said.
"They were all beach-related. Like puka shells, or a sign that says 'Pray for surf.'
"Because Ken's job is just beach. I've never quite figured out what that means. But I felt like she was trying to help Ken understand, through these gifts that she was giving."

Margot is pretty in pink ahead of the movie's summer release (Ethan James Green/Vogue)And Margot spoke about why she chose to take on the movie and change the perception of the controversial doll.
"We of course would want to honor the 60-year legacy that this brand has, but we have to acknowledge that there are a lot of people who aren't fans of Barbie," she said.
"And in fact, aren't just indifferent to Barbie. They actively hate Barbie. And have a real issue with Barbie. We need to find a way to acknowledge that."
Margot also revealed that while Barbie is "sexualised" by people she should never be "sexy".

If she doesn't have organs, she doesn't have reproductive organs. If she doesn't have reproductive organs, would she even feel sexual desire? No, I don't think she could.'" she said.
"She is sexualized. But she should never be sexy. People can project sex onto her. Yes, she can wear a short skirt, but because it's fun and pink. Not because she wanted you to see her butt."
