Every Premier League club's player of the season from Haaland to Arsenal's rock
Awards season has arrived - unless you’re a team struggling near the bottom of the table and therefore likely to cancel any planned bash to toast the campaign.
And the overall player of the season requires little debate considering how many goalscoring records Erling Haaland has annihilated as Manchester City close in on sealing a fifth title in six years.
But who have been the standout figures for all 20 clubs?

Arsenal - William Saliba: His influence on Mikel Arteta’s team is best summed up by their results without him. In games he has started this season, the Gunners have averaged 2.44 points per game compared to 1.66 when he has been absent.

Aston Villa - Ollie Watkins: The striker is up to 14 league goals with two games to play and went on a run of finding the net in five consecutive matches, a Premier League record for a Villa player, as part of a 12-match run in which he scored 11 and provided two assists. He is now deservedly back in the reckoning for a place in the England squad as Harry Kane ’s back up.
Brighton - Moises Caicedo: Plenty of candidates here for the neutral’s favourite side but the midfielder has excelled consistently. The unfortunate reality is Albion fans are likely to have another top player lured away by a rival with bigger spending power.
Brentford - Ivan Toney: Amid well-publicised off-field distractions, the England international has taken another major developmental leap in his second top-flight campaign. Only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane have more than his 20 goals.

(Getty Images)Bournemouth - Jefferson Lerma: The central midfielder is stalling on talks over a new contract and could return to Spain in the summer. While not flashy and prone to committing a fair share of cynical fouls, his dependability has been crucial for Gary O’Neil’s overperformers.
Chelsea - Reece James: Many fans will say none deserve to be anointed but James remains among the best right backs in the world even if injury problems have impacted him throughout the campaign.
Crystal Palace - Eberechi Eze: Stepped up a level since Roy Hodgson returned as manager, highlighted by six goals in his past seven appearances to reach double figures for the campaign. With Wilfried Zaha set to depart, the future still looks bright enough at Selhurst Park.
Everton - Dwight McNeil: Another team where it is a struggle to single out one player for praise so we’re going to take the cop out option and nominate the top scorer. But even then his total with two games to go is seven.

The Portuguese midfielder has already been linked with a switch to the big six and has proven he is far more than a tough tackler by exhibiting his own creative influence from deep.
Leeds - Rodrigo: A miserable campaign at Elland Road is summed up by their 12-goal forward starting with four in the opening three games but only three since the World Cup finished and one in the past nine.
Leicester- James Maddison: The England international has scored ten goals and contributed nine assists at the time of writing - and that is still unlikely to be enough for a sorry looking team devoid of quality in other areas.

Liverpool - Mohamed Salah: The Egyptian is a victim of his own past success because 29 direct contributions to goals is not considered overly impressive in a troubled campaign for Jurgen Klopp’s team. Has been particularly effective in the past six weeks.
James Maddison's individual performances have not been enough to lift Leicester out of trouble.Man City - Erling Haaland: What is left to say about a man who at this point may consider any game in which he has not scored a hat-trick as a failure? Records have been smashed, the amount of silverware one remains to be determined. But can anyone dispute his arrival has not been a success?
Man United - Marcus Rashford: Came back from the World Cup like a man on a mission. Maybe he is trying to prove a point amid the contract talk but the England star has 29 goals for the season already - and his previous best was 22. At his sharpest there are few more electric forwards in the country.
Newcastle - Bruno Guimaraes: Many will look at the team’s impressive defensive record and consider Fabian Schar here but the Brazilian midfielder has the star quality that transmits itself to those around him. A Champions League level footballer.
Nottingham Forest - Morgan Gibbs-White: A real joy to watch and his only major complaint - a lack of regular goal contributions - has improved at the business end of the season. Expect him to kick on next season, should they complete the survival mission in the next eight days, and justify a transfer that might end up costing £42.5m with add-ons factored in.

The most obvious prediction of the off-season: the central midfielder will be snapped up by a Premier League club where he will thrive.
Tottenham - Harry Kane: While everything has fallen apart around him, the England captain has continued banging in the goals to break a series of records. He deserves much better than the chaos and underperformance at a club whose drift to mediocrity cannot be stopped.
West Ham - Declan Rice: Looked a little sluggish in the weeks after his World Cup efforts but has stepped up when his team were in desperate need of a leader to drag them away from relegation fears. Another expected to be lured away by a bigger club as he justifiably eyes Champions League football.
Wolves - Craig Dawson: The fact he cost £3.3m from West Ham and settled a skittish defence down on the way to a comfortable mid-table finish should not be underestimated. Throughout his career the centre back has been a bit of a cult hero among supporters of his teams without getting much external credit.
