Love Island's sex rules – and all the couples who have had sex in the villa

The first series of Love Island 2023 is well underway – and one couple have already admitted having sex in the villa.

Australian bombshell Jessie Wynter got down and dirty with farmer Will Young when they were picked to go to the hideaway earlier this week.

Personal trainer and influencer Jessie, who also appeared on the Australian version of Love Island, let the cat out the bag in a chat with Tanya the morning after.

While Jessie stripped down to a red negligee, Will proved he’s got a kinky side when he donned a black leather bondage style outfit.

He was later heard saying their romp was “like a proper workout”.

And Jessie and Will are not the only couple to have gone all the way on TV. Here we delve into Love Island’s strict sex rules and reveal which couples have had sex in all the series so far.

What are the sex rules in Love Island?

Before going into the villa, all the Love Island contestants are prepped on what they can and can’t do to ensure their strict sexual behaviour guidelines are met.

There is an outright ban on masturbating in the villas and despite most of the contestants wearing very little in the show, no one is allowed to get fully naked in front of the cameras as it’s a ‘public place’. This even applies in the shower.

Safe sex is paramount and each contestant is offered an STI-test before entering the villa.

There are also said to be 200 condoms scattered around, so there is always one on hand for cast members to use.

Drunk sex – and getting drunk in general – is also banned in the Love Island villa as there is a two-drink limit per night for each Islander.

Anyone who does have sex in the villa must see a counsellor afterwards and can gain access to the morning after pill if needed.

Couples picked to go into the hideaway have access to condoms, lube, sex toys and sexy outfits should they want to use them.

And although more couples have had sex in the villa than have admitted it, these are the ones we know about so far....

Who has had sex in the Love Island villa?

Way back when Love Island first aired in 2015, Jon and Hannah revealed they had ‘christened’ the villa – with Jon declaring it was the “best night of my life”.

In series two, Malin Andersson and Terry Walsh couldn't keep their hands off each other and even had sex in front of their housemates.

The couple bizarrely decided to slide under their bed sheets in the middle of the day while in the middle of a conversation with the other islanders, but it was pretty obvious what they were up to.

After dumping Malin, Terry moved on with Emma who he brazenly had sex with on top of the covers in front of everyone.

Fellow Love Islander Sophie said: “I literally could not believe what I was seeing. Emma was just sat there doing it all riding him like a Buckin’ Bronco.”

In fact season two was the steamiest season yet – with four more couples going on to have sex in the Love Island villa.

Rykard admitted having sex with Olivia, who later moved on with Alex Bowen – now her husband. They are rumoured to have sex up to 30 times in the Love Island villa.

It all worked out though as the pair got married and welcomed their first child together, a boy called Abel, in June 2022.

Tom and Sophie also did the deed in series two and poor Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after being filmed having sex with Alex Bowen (before he got with Olivia) on the ITV2 dating show.

Series three was pretty steamy too with Montana and Alex, Chris and Olivia, Kem and Amber, Camilla and Jamie and Jess and Dom all slipping between the sheets to have sex in the Love Island villa.

Camilla and Jamie went on to get married after meeting on the show in 2017 and now have two children, Sophie and Nell.

Jess and Dom did the same and after secretly tying the knot in 2018 went on to have two sons together.

Love Island series four saw Eyal and Megan and Wes and Megan go all the way. While Wes and Laura had ‘half sex’.

Anna and Jordan are said to have had sex during season five, although Anna was heard telling Jordan to deny it.

Series six left viewers convinced Paige and Finley had sex under the covers – the pair went on to win the show and are still together.

In the first series after lockdown, Jake and Liberty, Millie and Liam and Chloe and Toby were all thought to have got intimate as their fellow islanders slept next to them.

Last year, fans were convinced Tasha and Andrew had gone all the way just a week after meeting each other on the show. The couple now live together in London.

As the 2023 series of Love hots up, we already know Jessie and Tanya have had sex but fans think Tanya and Shaq have too.
