Big-hearted Stacey Solomon has thanked fans for their support after she shared a selection of photos from her recent trip to the UAE.

The Loose Women favourite, 33, explained during a Q&A with her 5.6 million Instagram fans that she felt awkward about posting about her family holiday as Brits struggled to keep their heads above water amid the cost of living crisis.

Responding to one fan who said "love seeing all the content", a relieved Stacey wrote: "I worry so much sharing sometimes because I know it’s really s**t out there for lots of people & holidays are super expensive & lots of people are unable to go.

"So I’d never want to make anyone feel rubbish. But all of your lovely messages have just made me so happy and so glad I shared it all with you guys."

Stacey jetted over to Abu Dhabi with her husband Joe Swash and their three children, Rex, 3, Rose, 18 months, and baby Belle who was born in February this year. Also with them was Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, her sons from previous relationships.

As usual, Stacey shared some beautifully shot photos and videos from her time away, including a video of Rex getting freshly made chocolate pancakes for breakfast. She also showed the kids looking on in awe as they were served an elaborate meal at Coya, an upmarket Peruvian restaurant which also has a branch in Mayfair.

But other than one dinner out, she told fans that they had mostly made the most of their hotel's dining options having paid for half-board - and eating their own snacks from home for lunch.

Something else the family brought from home were coordinating outfits, with her followers loving seeing her dressed in the same floral outfit as her young daughters, and Joe and Rex in white shirts and khaki shorts as they watched the sunset on a pristine beach. And, not to miss out on the matchy-matchy fun, her older kids also donned grey tracksuits like the rest of the clan for their six-hour flight.

A video posted to Stacey's Instagram grid also revealed that there was another family members on the trip - her dad. She thanked him for videoing her as she tended to her kids, and shared an emotional montage of his secret footage.

She wrote: "I’m crying. So turns out my dad still takes videos of me the way I do of my babies. I hardly ever get videos of me like this.

"It’s usually pictures I force Joe to take so they know I was actually there. My camera roll mostly looks like I just popped in with a selfie or in the mirror video… I can’t tell you how emotional I feel right now.

"One day in years to come please g-d the pickles will have these to watch & remember the special times we had. I don’t care about the angles, my hair, my face, my body or the fact I’m mostly sun creaming everyone half the time. I’m just so grateful to have these… forever and always Dad… What an adventure we will treasure forever."
