Stacey Solomon 's BBC show Sort Your Life Out has been hit with criticism from some fans who have branded it 'fake'.

The star and her team this week headed to Rotherham in Yorkshire for the BBC DIY programme, where they went to the home of a busy young couple who had been struggling with their messy property.

With two kids and plenty of animals, the pair of childhood sweethearts felt they had lost their way, despite stressing that it was their dream home.

The Hall family needed rescuing - so called on Stacey to help get things straight.

Mum and dad Julia and Dan desperately needed some help with Rachel and Noah's belongings also a big problem.

It wasn't an easy task as the homeowners had hoarded a total of 2,137 toys, 452 books and 1,274 tools.

They also had to tackle 13 guitars and 61 mugs as they tried to combat the clutter.

They worked to reduce the chaos of the house as well as help redesign things to give them more space and the end result thrilled the family.

But the big clean-up didn't impress everyone and some thought the producers had set up the situations.

"Absolute set up this show is," one claimed after tuning in.

Another wrote "Production department of this show have artfully arranged all this stuff, totally faked, nice though Stacey is... #sortyourlifeout."

A viewer also said it was too good to be true, writing on twitter: "This has to be a set up."

Mirror Online have asked the BBC for their response.

Stacey is left incredibly emotional as the mum of the house admitted there were days she didn't even feel like she could face her home.

Stacey's cleaning hacks are incredibly popular with viewers and, earlier on the show, it was also revealed an easy way to get brass door knobs looking new once again.

There was a happy ending, of course.

The kids were left bursting with excitement at finally being able to have their own space - and not having to battle the clutter every day.

The star is days away from giving birth as she and partner Joe Swash prepare to welcome their third child together.

“I thought I’d come on and say hello. Still cooking, still going," she said last week.

“I think because Rex and Rose were a little bit early, I automatically just assumed she’d be here by now - because, you know, the more [children] you have, the more they sort of slip and slide out. Or that’s what I thought, anyway.

“But it’s not the case. She’s very comfy in there, and I’m quite enjoying it actually as I feel like this pregnancy has been shorter, so it’s nice to keep going and tie up all my lose ends and get ready a little bit.”
