Debbie McGee open to love again as she speaks out on life without Paul Daniels
Debbie McGee has teased that she is open to finding love again following the death of her husband Paul Daniels.
The performer, 64, had been married to the late magician for almost 30 years when he died in 2016. Debbie had worked with her husband as his assistant in his magic act.
She's spoken about the possibility of finding love again in the years since Paul's death and further shared her thoughts whilst on Good Morning Britain today (April 5).
Debbie - who was promoting new BBC series B&B by the Sea - was asked on the ITV show about the prospect of romance by its co-host Kate Garraway, 55, this morning.

She suggested that those who go searching for love "look desperate" and "never find it". Debbie added: "All the people I know that say 'oh I wish I could find somebody' [...] don't seem to find it or find the right person."
Kate's co-host Richard Madeley, 66, subsequently teased that it had been actor George Clooney, 61, who had "reawakened" an interest in romance within Debbie.
The Strictly Come Dancing finalist said that she had met George at an event and described her interaction with him as "a bit embarrassing" before discussing it.
She said: "I think I'm older now and when I was younger I would get nervous if I was met a man I fancied but these days I can kind of control that. [...] But with George I couldn't; I became a teenager. I got really giggly and silly".
During her appearance she spoke about life since the death of her late husband Paul Daniels (Matthew Fearn/PA Wire)And whilst on Good Morning Britain earlier, Debbie also spoke on about life since losing her husband. She said that although it's not the same, she's "embracing" her life.
She said: "Life is never the same when you lose somebody. There is that hole. You can't fill that gap but what you can do is accept they've gone. [That's] the biggest thing."
Debbie continued: "And then just take every day as it comes. I'm so lucky I have fantastic family, I have wonderful friends [and] everywhere I go people are lovely to me."
She further commented: "I would say I just embrace every minute of my life now and accept it's different to when I was with Paul but it doesn't mean it can't be as good."
"I'm just lucky that I had this amazing life and now I've still got an amazing life. Every day is different," she concluded.
