What wouldn't you do to enjoy a delicious full English? Well, one breakfast fan on the lookout for a bargain flew all the way to Magaluf for the meal - and spent less than the average cost of a fry-up on his flights and food.

Ben Matthew Saunders regularly records himself completing challenges for his popular TikTok @beninternet. In his latest video, the foodie travelled from Manchester to Mallorca in the search of a cheap full English. Amazingly, he managed to enjoy a breakfast and a spontaneous trip abroad for just £14.45 - £1.95 more than the standard price for the same meal in the UK.

In the clip, Ben explained he snagged a bargain by visiting the popular holiday destination during winter. "I needed to pick a location that would be good for a winter getaway but also wouldn't let me down on the quality of a classic British breakfast. So what's a better place to go than Magaluf?

"I made my way to the airport and I was able to catch a flight from Manchester to Mallorca for only £10."

Upon arrival, Ben found a waterfront cafe, and finally it was time to see how far he could stretch his money. "I ordered a full English and it also included a tea or a coffee," he recalled, while showing off his plate filled with sausages, bacon, beans, chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, and hash browns.

"The portion sizes were absolutely huge. There was no way I was going to finish this," he added. "The price of one of these breakfasts was only €5, which converts to £4.45."

Given Ben aimed to pay less than the average cost of £12.50 for the same delicacy in the UK, it sounds like he did pretty well, even when the price of the return flight is included in his calculations.

According to Metro, Ben splashed out £4 for his train from Preston to Manchester Airport and £12 for a return flight on the same day. So his total came in at £30.45, which still beats the price of breakfast in some fine-dining establishments - and Ben got the added joy of his adventure.

Talking about his inspiration behind the trip, he said: "The total cost is still cheaper than some breakfasts in the UK and it shows people they can save money if they're more creative.

"Even if that means your local store is a Waitrose and you get a bus and go further afield to Aldi it can save you £30, that sort of thing.

"I'm not encouraging everyone to go to Spain for breakfast."
