Love Island's Samie and Tom make it official after three villa romances crumble

Love Island lovebirds Samie Elishi and Tom Clare confirmed they’re officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

Although their love story started off on a rocky road, professional footballer Tom, 23, has proved himself to estate agent Samie, 22, with the pair finishing in third place during the 2023 Winter Love Island series, falling behind runner- up couple Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall and winners Kai Fagan and Shanam Harrinanan.

During the final episodes of the Winter series earlier this month, Tom and Samie declared their love for one another after falling head over heels for one another after a whirlwind eight weeks in the villa.

Now, the pair have made it official, with Tom even hoping that the pair will move in together soon.

During a romantic date night this week, Samie excitedly announced via her Instagram Stories: "This is my boyfriend everyone."

The lovebirds enjoyed a romantic night out together at London's famous Italian restaurant, Gloria Trattoria.

Sharing an insight into their cute date night, Samie penned: "My favourite place with my favourite person."

While Tom and Samie have made their relationship official, three other villa romances have already crashed and burned since the reunion last Sunday night.

Maxwell Samuda and Olivia Hawkins are the latest couple who have sparked split rumours as he has jetted off to Mexico without her.

Casa Amor bombshell Maxwell has been sharing a string of snaps on his social media while enjoying the sun while Olivia has stayed in the UK - leaving fans to believe that they have called it quits on their romance.

The couple narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the hit dating show after they were dumped from the Island on day 45, just minutes after making their relationship exclusive.

While Olivia and Maxwell have yet to confirm not deny the speculation, two more couples from this year's series have already split.

Zara Deniz and Jordan Odofin have split less than a week after they were last seen chatting to host Maya Jama on the final episode of the Winter series.

On Tuesday, Zara took to Instagram to confirm the news.

"Hey everyone, Jordan and I would like to acknowledge the increasing public support for us to be seen as an exclusive couple," Zara began.

"After a few dates since leaving the villa, we know that we definitely get along and enjoy each others company. It's been two and a half weeks of getting to know each other and for now, it's a fun friendship between us.

"We have a lot of respect for each other and that's what matters."

Their split comes after their fellow islander, Casey O'Gorman revealed that he and Rosie are no longer a couple.

In an Instagram Q&A with his fans, Casey revealed that he and Rosie are now just friends.

"Rosie and I have spoken... she's such a great girl," Casey explained. "Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward."
