Whoopi Goldberg unveils new look live on The View after undergoing surgery
Whoopi Goldberg debuted her brand new look during a live broadcast of The View, having recently undergone surgery.
The 67-year-old panellist changed up her appearance during Monday's show and was noticeably not wearing her glasses.
Whoopi's co-host Sunny Hostin asked her about the new look before Whoopi explained the recent operation she had on her eyes.
"I had an operation, and they replaced the lens," she said as she pointed to her left eye. "And the lens they replaced it with is kind of like my eyeglass lens."
The audience then applauded the star for her transformation, as 54-year-old Sunny exclaimed: "You can see!".

Whoopi recalled how she previously had trouble reading the autocue without her classes on.
Whoopi Goldberg showed off her glasses-free look on The View (The View)Whoopi clarified that her surgery was different to cataract surgery, before explaining that the lens was replaced using "teeny tiny cataracts".
Following the procedure, she has been able to regain her eyesight.
She encouraged others to go ahead with the surgery if they were struggling with their eyesight.
"If you're having any issues with your eyes, please go get them checked because, you know, the bionic times have arrived," Whoopi joked as she held up a pamphlet about the operation.
The host is known for wearing glasses on the show (ABC)Whoopi joked that some fans wouldn't recognise her without her glasses, but recalled the earlier days of her career when she didn't need to use glasses.
"If you're over 28, you know what I looked like before, when I was wearing sunglasses or cool glasses because they were cool.
"If you're under 28, you don't know that there was a time that I didn't have glasses, and now this is what I looked like," she laughed.
"It's not so bad! It's not so bad," Whoopi then joked.

"@WhoopiGoldberg "You are looking FANTASTIC, girl!!!", tweeted a third viewer, with another fan gushing: "Whoopi looks beautiful without glasses."
