Coleen Rooney has 'the best time' visiting Wayne amid long-distance marriage
Coleen Rooney enjoyed "the best time" visiting husband Wayne Rooney amid the couple tackling a long-distance relationship whilst he is working abroad.
Wayne, 37, is understood to be based in the US at the moment as he is the head coach for D.C. United. He was announced in the position for the football club last year.
His wife Coleen, 36 - who's believed to still live in the UK with their children - took to Instagram on Thursday (March 16) to post about having visited her husband recently.
She shared photos of herself and Wayne - who have been married since 2008 - together in Washington, D.C. and told her followers that she "had the best time visiting [him]".
The first photo showed them in an outdoor location. Coleen was seen in a white top, dark jacket and jeans, whilst Wayne had donned dark pants, a black shirt and coat.

A subsequent selfie showed the couple sat outside an undisclosed property, with them seen wrapped up in coats and both wearing jeans as they spent more time together.
They were seen wearing the same outfits in a fourth photo, which concluded the recent post on Instagram. The couple smiled as they posed together whilst out and about.
Wayne - who had previously managed Derby County prior to his latest position - shared the latter photo on his own account a couple of days before Coleen's post.
The former footballer wrote in the accompanying caption of his post over the weekend: "Great week with [Coleen]". He tagged his wife in the post and included a smiling emoji.
It isn't the first time that they have been reunited since Wayne began his role with D.C. United. They have spent time together in various locations over the last six months.
This included them having a family holiday in the United Arab Emirates with their four children Kai, 13, Klay, nine, Kit, seven, and Cass, five, last year. The family visited Dubai.
