Cristiano Ronaldo has been told that he is an “angry dude” by one of his Al-Nassr teammates following yet another explosive outburst while playing for the Saudi side.

The former Manchester United star was most recently in action on Tuesday as his side took on Abha in the Saudi King Cup of Champions. Sami Al-Najel had given Al-Nassr the lead in the opening minute of the game before Abdullah-Al Khaibari doubled the lead.

As half-time approached, Ronaldo soon let his frustration show. The Portuguese attempted to burst out of his own half on the counter-attack in an attempt to add a third to his team's tally.

The referee brought the opening period to an end 30 seconds early however, triggering Ronaldo’s annoyance. The former Real Madrid and Juventus angrily gesticulated towards the official before he then booted the ball into the opposition half of the pitch.

The 38-year-old’s mood was certainly not made any better after he was punished with a yellow card. Al-Nassr eventually managed to secure their spot in the next round after the break with a further goal from Mohammed Maran to secure a 3-1 success.

In the aftermath of the game Ronaldo took to Instagram with his thoughts on the match. He wrote: “Good victory team! We move on to the semi-final.”

Al-Nassr teammate Anderson Talisca replied to the Portuguese’s post with a simple message. He replied: “Brabo bixo,” which roughly translates to “angry dude”.

The latest incident is not Ronaldo’s first outburst since completing a move to Saudi Arabia. After a 1-0 defeat by title rivals Al-Ittihad last week, the Portuguese responded by ripping off his captain’s armband and storming off of the pitch.

He also lashed out at some water bottles near the touchline and made straight for the tunnel. The 38-year-old now finds himself without a goal in his last three games in all competitions in what is a marked difference to his earlier form after finding the net on eight occasions in his opening five league games.

Talisca has shared his thoughts on his new teammate in the past and suggested that he is simply one of a kind. Speaking shortly after his arrival at Al-Nassr was confirmed, the Brazilian said: “In football there is only one person called Cristiano Ronaldo and there is no one like him. His personality helped him adapt quickly. We are happy to have Cristiano Ronaldo with us.”

Ronaldo will certainly be hoping to improve his mood and his goalscoring record later this week as he gets back in action for Al-Nassr. They take on their recent cup opponents Abha in the league on Saturday and could reclaim top spot in the Saudi Pro League with victory.
