Jonnie Irwin has denied speculation he's set to make a TV comeback on A Place in the Sun as he battles terminal cancer.

The father-of-three, 49, was given six months to live in 2020 after doctors revealed his lung cancer had spread to his brain.

Jonnie has admitted he 'doesn't know how long he has left', but thrilled fans when he appeared at A Place in the Sun's live show in Manchester, reuniting with co-host Jasmine Harman, who he has worked with for almost two decades.

Taking to Instagram, the TV host shared a snap of himself and co-host Jasmine Harman on stage at the property exhibition, and posted a photo of his outfit the day before.

He wrote: "Last week I got to team up with my mate again at @aplaceinthesunofficial Live. It was the busiest for years but, for some reason, the papers are talking about it as a comeback for me.

"Just to confirm @aplaceinthesunofficial is a separate company running the website and affiliated business and has supported me continuously though-out which I’m eternally grateful for. Here’s looking forward to the next one!"

Jasmine was one of the first of Jonnie's colleagues to send her friend a supportive message when the presenter shared his heartbreaking news.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: "Sending lots of love and support to my great friend and original partner in crime @jonnieirwintv.

"I know it has taken bravery to share your story. As ever a true inspiration & always positive and up for a laugh no matter what the circumstances. Love to you and your beautiful family [heart emoji] #inspirational #friends #brave #positivity."

In February, Jonnie shared a health update with his followers on social media.

The property guru told fans he had begun Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - which involves a hyperbaric chamber is a highly-pressurised room or tube where a patient is given pure oxygen to breathe.

It's thought flooding the body with concentrated oxygen can help make cancer cells easier to kill with treatments like chemotherapy and radiation while also activating the healing process in a patient's body.

Jonnie shared the heartbreaking admission that he 'doesn't know how long' he has left to live in November, after first being diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2020, which has since spread to his brain.

After making his diagnosis public last year, Jonnie credited "Jess and our boys" with helping him stay positive and focus on creating as many memories as he can with his family following his terminal diagnosis.
