Disney is opening a lavish beach retreat with family cabanas and water slides
Disney Cruise Line has given a first look at a brand new beach retreat it will feature on cruise holidays, and it has everything you could want for a dreamy family holiday.
For a start Lighthouse Point will be located on the sun-soaked island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, and judging by the concept imagery, it's going to have some pretty incredible features and - of course- pristine white sand beaches.
We're talking heaps of brilliant features such as a dedicated family beach right by a market-style dining area, activities and other amenities, a water play area complete with two slides, water drums, fountains and more, as well as a fun area for toddlers.
That's not including the volleyball court, covered gaming pavilion, bike and watersports hire, and heaps of nature trails for those who want to stretch their legs after a few hours basking in the sunshine.
There will even be a themed kids' club complete with a Little Mermaid inspired splash pad, and family-friendly cabanas you can hire.

All guests will get perks such as complimentary beach essentials (towels, chairs and umbrellas and lunch) and tram transportation.
Disney Cruise Line says at least 90% of the destination's electricity will be met by an onsite solar array to keep the impact on the landscape to a minimum.
Lighthouse Point will open in summer 2024 on selected sailings, although Disney has yet to reveal exact dates and details.

Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line said: "At Disney Cruise Line, we have a deep appreciation for the Bahamian community.
"We are connected in many ways, including our shared values of storytelling and hospitality. With the opening of Lighthouse Point, visitors from around the world will experience the magic of The Bahamas in a new way, one that truly celebrates its natural and cultural beauty."
Of course it's not the only Disney Cruise destination that's firmly on our bucket list.
The cruise line already boasts a ridiculously cool private island on its itineraries, Disney Castaway Cay.
The lavish spot has everything you could want for an unforgettable family trip; water parks, white sand beaches with open air BBQ parties, water sports, kids' clubs and lavish cabanas.
