Fergie says she's not yet been invited to Coronation - but has alternative plans
Sarah Ferguson has admitted she has not yet received an invitation to the Coronation - but joked she may have alternative plans.
Fergie was speaking at a promo event in New York City for her new romance novel, which is released today, where she was asked about several members of the Royal Family.
As well as speaking fondly of her late mother-in-law the Queen, she also told how her former husband Prince Andrew was a "good man" and was also asked if she would be at King Charles' Coronation on May 6.
It is believed that save the dates and invitations have begun to be sent out - but Fergie said she had not had any word yet on them.

But she shrugged it off and told of what she will be doing instead if she is not picked to be inside Westminster Abbey.
She explained: "Well I've decided the best thing about being British around a coronation - although I've never been to one - I think we should, I should set up a tea room at the bottom of the drive with bunting and cakes."

Relations between them and other royals are said to be very fractured following the publication of Harry's memoir Spare.
At the event to promote the book A Most Intriguing Lady, Fergie was asked what advice she would give the couple.
Fergie says it's 'TBD' on whether she will be at the Coronation (Getty Images)And she said: "I think the best way to answer that is to really take hold and lead by example. I wouldn't give advice, I would say that your actions speak louder than words."
Fergie was also very close to Harry's mother, the late Princess Diana and added that she and King Charles would be proud.
She added: "Diana and I, we played a lot and had a great time. I feel like she would be absolutely, and so is the King, so proud of their grandchildren and the family… I think forgiveness is key."

Sarah Ferguson married the late Queen’s second eldest son in 1986 but the couple then titled the Duke and Duchess of York, split up in 1992, although they have remained friends.

She has spoken about being grateful to have "even a minute" of the Queen’s time before her death in September last year.
She told The Telegraph: “Because also, during the last three years, her poor son [Andrew] has been going through such a tumultuous time and I think HM was very relieved I could help her with him, so we became even closer then.
“I’ve always admired and adored her. Really, she was more of a mother to me than my mother.”
Asked if the Queen was confident she would be there for Andrew after her death, Sarah added: “She knew.
"I will always be there. Always. Because I love her."
