Toblerone - the iconic ridged chocolate that's a mainstay for travellers passing through duty-free - is set for a redesign after falling foul of Swiss laws, leaving fans confused and bewildered.

The emblematic logo included an image of the Matterhorn, alongside a hidden detail that many failed to see, but now the mountain in Switzerland has to be removed from packaging as production of the chocolate has moved to Slovakia.

The new logo for the triangular chocolate will surely leave people confused, but many have been baffled by Toblerone for years - as some can't even figure out how to eat it.

Unlike most chocolate bars, Toblerone comes in huge triangular blocks and if you try to bite into it you run the risk of losing a tooth or damaging your gums.

But it turns out there's a 'correct' way to tuck into a Tobelrone, and one TikTok user shared the technique with their fans - leaving people in shock.

What do you think about the Toblerone technique? Let us know in the comments...

Sidney Raz is TikTok famous thanks to his videos where he shares things that he wishes he realised sooner, and recently he turned his attention to the famous Swiss chocolate.

In his latest video, Sidney takes out a ridged Toblerone and begins with his hallmark: "Here's something I didn't know until I was in my 30s."

Then, he demonstrates the proper technique - where he pinches one of the segments to break it free from the rest, instead of using brute force to separate it.

In the video, Sidney says: "You're supposed to pinch Toblerone apart - I've always broken it down."

He then opens a Toblerone and demonstrates the technique, before shouting: "Oh my God! You're supposed to pinch Toblerone apart."

Soon Sidney's video had over two million views alongside droves of comments, as people were in shock after hearing the news.

One fan said: "Wait, so y'all don't just bite off the pieces and stab the upper side of your mouth with the chocolate's spike?"

Then another wrote: "But if you do that you'll leave a fingerprint on the second part, and that, that bothers me."

"I finally knew something," added a third user. "Except I never do it, go in for the bite and end up with it shoving my nose up and nearly breaking a tooth."

Previously, we reported how Sidney shared an advice video titled 'You can actually sleep on a flight', and claimed that travel pillows should actually go at the front of your neck and clip around the back, rather than the other way round.

He said: "Here's something I wish I knew before I was in my 30s. Travel pillows go in front," while putting the padding under his chin and adding: "Mm, I'm so comfy."

After seeing hundreds of people all wear the pillows the same way at airports and on flights, viewers were left stunned after giving it a go themselves and realising they had been making a huge mistake for years.
