'Penis enlargement' YouTuber found dead naked from the waist down in apartment

Police were today investigating the mystery death of a popular American ' penis enlargement ' YouTuber found dead in his ransacked apartment in Thailand.

Keep-fit influencer Laith Abdallah Algaz, 34, better known as Leo Rex, had been dead for at least four hours before he was discovered by police in Pattaya on January 30.

Wearing only a black shirt and naked from the waist down, he was lying face down with blood leaking from his mouth and nose, and a bruise on his left eye, cops said.

Laith's clothes had been scattered everywhere, and the shelves and toilet in the bathroom had been destroyed in an apparent raid, officers added.

The vlogger, from Colorado, was pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived. Officers said they discovered various drugs, including anxiety tables, sleeping pills, steroids, cannabis, and antidepressants.

Laith's friend, American national Charles Anthony Hughes, 40, had visited the house after the YouTube vlogger failed to answer his calls. Upon opening the door, however, he was shocked to find Laith already lifeless, and frantically called the police.

Charles said Laith would often stay at home using his computer while taking the drug cannabis.

He had been running a YouTube channel called 'Leo and Longevity' with 123,000 subscribers, often posting about exercise and food supplements. His most viewed videos were about penis enlargement.

Speaking in the video, Laith's friend Aicha Humera Rattanaphan, 25, said: 'The dead body was found by his friends after they were unable to contact him. The door was locked so they used the spare key to get inside before finding the body.

'He lived alone in this room. He didn't have many visitors.'

Police Captain Sombat Kaewmulsuk said officers were checking CCTV and interviewing potential suspects.

He said: 'We will be interrogating the victim's friends, and a woman who had stayed with him before he died.

'We urge the public not to jump to any conclusions until a complete examination has been done.

Police Captain Sombat said today that foul play had not been ruled out of their investigation.

He said: 'The room looked like there had been a disturbance so it's possible somebody else was with him before he died or the victim was distressed in some way.'

Laith's body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for a post-mortem examination. The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok was also informed of their countryman's death in order for his relatives to be contacted.

At the start of the year, a property developer admitted shooting a Brit pensioner dead in a road rage row in Thailand.

Neil Roger, 70, bled to death on the road after he was blasted four times in Pattaya, on the south coast of Thailand. He had been riding home on his moped after meeting friends at a pub in early January when he and Apicha Boonsawat, 32, clashed at a junction.

Boonsawat was arrested and has since admitted shooting the man but says he was provoked by Mr Roger "banging on his car".

Paramedics performed CPR at the scene of the gunning but were unable to revive the retired civil engineer, who is originally from Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
