Lady Gaga becomes a mum and welcomes first child with Michael Polansky
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lady Gaga has become a mum!
According to sources close to the 40-year-old Oscar winner, she has welcomed her first child with her entrepreneur fiancé, Michael Polansky.
At the time of writing, neither Gaga nor Polansky has publicly spoken about the baby.
However, sources have confirmed the news to Page Six and People, and there are photos in the wild showing the couple walking in northern California while Gaga holds a young baby.
The baby’s name, gender, and the date of birth aren’t known at this time.
The news that Gaga has become a mother explains her recent absence from the limelight.
The Bad Romance singer has barely been seen in public since her Mayhem Ball world tour came to an end in April (not even the paparazzi had seen her).
Last month, in August, she shared some Polaroids on Instagram; however, fans were curious why one of the most famous women in the world had seemingly given up the spotlight.
There were rumours that Gaga and Polansky might have eloped and were enjoying a well-earned honeymoon while planning to start a family.
However, there has been no confirmation from Gaga or Polansky that they have married.
In 2024, Gaga was forced to shut down pregnancy rumours after fans thought they saw her with a baby bump while attending her sister’s wedding.
She shared a TikTok video with the caption: ‘not pregnant- just down bad crying at the gym’ in a reference to Taylor Swift’s song Down Bad.
Gaga and Polansky were first spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2020, and have been together ever since.
The Joker star confirmed the relationship with a post on Instagram captioned: ‘We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best!’
After going Instagram official, a source told Entertainment Tonight: ‘She wasn’t expecting to get so involved so quickly after her last relationship, but she started telling her friends she was completely in love with him.
‘Anyone that has spent any time with them can see the connection. They are completely smitten. Her friends haven’t seen her this happy in years. It didn’t take long for her friends to adore him too.’
She also said in an interview around the same time that she was looking forward to ‘marriage’ and kids sometime in the future.
