Driver leaves people in stitches with 'brilliant' note explaining slow speed

It can be very annoying to be stuck behind somebody driving slowly, especially if you have to be somewhere in a hurry and they are just making things difficult. But many people were keen to cut one motorist some slack on the roads as the driver had stuck a hilarious note to the back window of his car which let people know why they were driving slowly.

TikTok user @yasclarke posted a clip to the social media site when she pulled up behind the car and was able to read what the note said, leaving her in stitches. The clip shows the TikTok user pull up behind the car and on the back window there is an A4 note piece of pare on it with a note which perfectly explains why the car is driving at slower speeds.

On the note, it says: "Sorry!!! 9 points on license."

Once a driver has 12 penalty points on their license, within any three-year period, they are banned from driving for six months. So this motorist certainly does not want to make another mistake.

The video has a backing track of someone falling about laughing, which is exactly how many of the nearly four million people who have seen the viral clip have been left.

Many people in the comments were quick to show how much they enjoyed the hilarious note.

One person wrote: "I couldn't even get mad if I was driving slow."

While another said: "Fair enough. Totally understand."

A third simply added: "Brilliant."

Another commenter was keen to try out the idea for themselves in a bid to stop people driving closely behind them.

They said: "I agree, people constantly tailgate when trying to stick to the limit because we have points."
