Kate Middleton swears by £19.99 rosehip oil that helps 'reduce wrinkles & scars'Panellist Sunni Hostin hit back and said as the "future queen", Kate would not be "taking selfies with her family." But Whoopi wasn't having any of it.
"I have to tell you, she may be the future queen, she's still an amateur photographer. That’s what they do. I'm sure none of you have ever tampered with your own. It doesn’t change the fact that she said, 'Listen, I manipulated the pictures, I'm sorry'," the actress said.
Whoopi also joked that everyone would be "in jail for the rest of our lives" if editing pictures was a crime. Her comments come after Kate released a statement apologising for the "photogate" drama.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, she said: "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."
The picture, which was released on Mother's Day, was the first official image of the Princess of Wales since she underwent abdominal surgery in January.
