Death In Paradise airs two huge returns as exit 'sealed' for Neville

Death In Paradise aired two huge returns tonight - as Neville Parker made a big decision.

It was a jam packed episode of the BBC detective drama tonight, as not one but two popular faces from the past returned after Officer Marlon Pryce decided he needed to move to Jamaica to be with his younger sister. She had received a scholarship and Marlon took the bold decision to travel with her, but was unsure he'd be able to secure a job.

However, the Commissioner and old friend of Saint Marie JP Hooper stepped in to ensure Marlon - who was recruited to the police force as a juvenile criminal - would get a job in the police force when he moved there. Fans were thrilled to see JP back for a guest role but even more returns took place tonight, leaving fans thrilled.

Firstly, with one officer down, the Commissioner set about on finding a replacement to work alongside DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) and his team, DS Naomi Thomas and Offiicer Darlene Curtis. However, with one person absent, there was no one else better to call than the much-loved Officer Dwayne Myers, who returned to take up his previous position in the Saint Marie police force.

Fans will no doubt be thrilled to have him back but there was even more excitement in store when the Commissioner received a phone call from none other than DS Florence Cassell, who is now able to return after being put it witness protection.

Viewers of the show will remember how Florence left the island when she was moved to a safe house after she exposed a criminal gang. Whilst she managed to get out of there alive, it was sad news for her and Neville as they were unable to work with each other again. Neville has had a huge crush on Florence since they met, but nothing happened between them before her exit a few years back.

Now she's back, could Neville and her end up reuniting - or is it too late? Tonight, Neville made the decision that finding love was top of his priority list but the island held too many ghosts for him, so he would need to leave to find someone. He decided tonight that he needed to go travelling, but with Florence seemingly coming back, could he end up staying or is Neville gone for good?
