Princess Diana's niece Kitty Spencer, 33, welcomes first child with husband, 65
Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer has welcomed her first child with husband Michael Lewis, it has been revealed.
Kitty, 33, who is the eldest child of Diana's brother Earl Charles Spencer, took to social media to announce the news, celebrating her first Mother's Day. Sharing a picture of herself on a beach cradling her bundle of joy, she captioned the post saying: "It's the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today." With her hair blowing in the wind while wearing a flattering white swimsuit, the aristocrat looked away from the camera while her baby's identity remained hidden.
As yet it is not known the gender or name of her tot. In another picture she just showed her baby's hand. And within minutes, Lady Kitty was inundated with congratulatory messages from fans. This included a comment from her sister Amelia Spencer, who said: "The most perfect angel in the world."
Her brother Samuel Aitken added a heart emoji, while her socialite friend Emma Weymouth added a host of heart eye emojis. Lady Kitty is a first cousin to Princes William and Harry which now means that her newborn tot will be second cousins to Prince George, Louis, Archie and Princesses Charlotte and Lilibet.
Kitty first became known for being part of the elite social scene for many years but made the decision to take a break and focus on other things. She currently works as a model for Dolce & Gabanna and tied the knot with South African multi-millionaire Michael, 65, three years ago.

The pair were forced to postpone their wedding for two years due to Covid-19 but when they were finally able to enjoy the wedding of their dreams, celebration went on for three days.
Attendees included pop star Pixie Lott and the Marchioness of Bath. Aside from her extravagant nuptials, it was noticed that her father Earl Charles was nowhere to be seen amid speculation that his relationship with his daughter had deteriorated following his third marriage.
At the time, a source explained to the MailOnline that the Earl's health was an unlikely reason. They said: "The four children are all close to their mother Victoria and get on well with their step-siblings, and their Spencer aunts and have forged their own relationships with one another without needing Charles to bind them together."
Another source had previously said: "Kitty and Charles were very close when she was growing up, but their relationship has cooled and been more distant since his marriage to his third wife Karen in 2011. Charles recently suffered an injury and perhaps that will be the reason for him not travelling, but it is just easier for everyone that he is not there."
Kitty was walked down the aisle by her brother Louis, Viscount Althorp, and her half-brother Samuel Aitken, whose father is South African businessman Jonathan Aitken. And her twin sisters Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer, 31, were also in attendance. Lady Kitty wore five gown by Dolce & Gabbana during the course of the weekend.
