The 1% Club show is known for its notoriously tricky final question, but now fans have slammed it for being "too easy".

The popular ITV show hosted by Lee Mack is based on a series of questions testic logic and common sense, making it different to other game shows testing general knowledge.

Contestants have to answer 15 questions in the hope of walking away with the £100,000 cash prize, but it's never as easy as it seems, all because of the final question. As the questions progress, the harder they get but this particular 1% question has many people criticising it - can you guess it correctly?

If you manage to guess it, you could be walking away with a huge monetary prize. The question simply asked: "Using only two letters to fill in the blank, what is the word below? P _ _ _ E _ _ I _ N."

But fans of the show said it was "easy peasy", but Tessa, who was facing the question on the show told Lee Mack she was "a bit nervous" to proceed and decided to skip the 1% question. As it was the last question, it meant 99% of the public couldn't answer it - Tessa included - but have you guessed it?

On the show, you only get 30 seconds, but lucky for you, you don't have to worry about the time restrictions. We're about to reveal the answer, so no cheating.

The answer was "Possession", did you manage to guess it? Many viewers took to X, formerly Twitter to share their thoughts. One user penned: "Don't usually get the last question but I saw that one instantly. Easy peasy," while another added: "Got it! Blimey I actually answered the 1% question."

If you enjoyed this, why not try another brain teaser to get your brain working in different ways? Like The 1% club question, this mind-boggling test is so hard it's said that only 1% of people can solve it within the time limit. You'll see rows and rows of the same letter printed in green lettering but you need to try and find the odd letter out among them. You have just 11 seconds to find the letter that doesn't quite fit with all the Ms, and if you manage to find it within the time limit, Jagran Josh claims you must be part of the "1% with the sharpest IQ".
