Lord Sugar delivered kind words to the candidate after firing her.

The Apprentice candidates were tasked with designing and creating a new breakfast cereal aimed at six-to-eight-year-olds to pitch and sell to industry buyers in the latest episode. After a tough competition which saw one team create a bland recipe while the other delivered a boring design, Sam Saadet was fired.

Lord Sugar said in the boardroom:Sam, I admire your honesty and I can tell that you get on with everyone and that is a good virtue in business. However, the kids found the cereal boring and bland. So it is with sincere regret that you’re fired.”

Speaking to the Mirror, Sam revealed why she left the process thrilled despite being fired. She said: "You never really prepared for it and I don't think I was, I really did think we were going to win the task and secondly it was a real toss up with who it could have been.

"But when Lord Sugar did it, he said such positive things about me and it was a great way to go out on a high so I couldn’t have asked for anything more than that really." Sam explained that Lord Sugar's observation have her confidence to grow her online fitness company, The Mummy Motivator, which focusses on pre and post-natal care.

She continued: "He commented on me as a person and he said you're clearly well liked within your peers and it made me feel happy because that's what my business is all about – it’s the personal touch and my personality being at the heart of what I do. That’s what meant a lot to me, the fact he he picked up on that and told me that's a great attribute to have in business."It has given me the confidence to keep doing what I’m doing." Entrepreneur and mum Sam went on to share that she had an inkling The Apprentice boss found firing her difficult.

"He said sincerest regrets so I think it was quite hard for him to let me go but at the same time I was the project manager and that’s what it boils down to most of the time. But, I do think it was a hard decision for him to be honest," she said.

The Apprentice star added that she felt she "was one of the strongest candidates" and "could have made it further". Despite her disappointment at being fired in week six, Sam lamented her exit was "probably the easiest decision", adding: "I didn’t put up much of a fight. I think I was in shock more than anything, I thought I would go further but, it was a decision that was the only one that could be made at the time."
