Playful Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry stole the show before the Billboard Women in Music Awards had even begun.
Especially for You singer Kylie, 55, joked she was having hotel room service before heading to the bash. The Aussie star, who is in the US for a Las Vegas concert residency, looked stunning in a floor-length black dress featuring sparkling shoulder straps.
Firework singer Katy, 39, posed in a car park before the Los Angeles event. She wore a red lace-up corset and matching skirt along with a bold butterfly design on her lower back. Katy, who is expected to release a new album this year, captioned the snaps: “You’re my butterfly, sugar, baby.”

But it wasn't that long ago that Ellie courted the press for a very different reason. Earlier this month, the singer seemed to have put her marital split firmly behind her after she was spotted topless while on holiday in Costa Rica with her new man.
Ellie had recently confirmed that she had split with her husband Casper Jopling after four years of marriage. Those close to the pair claimed to have known of their sad demise months before the couple - who invited Prince Harry to their wedding - made the public announcement. But on the back of pictures that surfaced last month, showing Ellie kissing her new man Armando Perez, Ellie and Casper individually released statements confirming the split.

Days into her raucous single holiday, the pop star stripped down to nothing but a pair of bikini bottoms as she relaxed poolside, while making the most of her time away from the UK. Showing off her sun-kissed complexion, Ellie, who shares a son with Casper, looked the picture of holiday bliss as she napped by the pool in the sun. The singer, who shared her trip with a few pals as well as her new love interest, made no secret of her new fling as she was pictured happily kissing surfer Armando in the sea.
The star's care-free attitude comes after she shared with fans that she is now in an "anxiety free zone." Uploading a cooking video, Ellie accompanied the post saying: "anxiety free zone." Last month, speaking of her new-found relationship, a source told the publication: "Ellie and Armando seemed very into each other. They share a lot of interests including their love of nature and the ocean. Armando runs a surf school on the beach with his brother and he has been giving Ellie lessons."
In a separate statement on the breakdown of her marriage, she penned: "In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago. We remain the closest of friend and have been successfully co-parenting with our sons best interest at heart. We are committed to protecting our family privacy and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes - we won’t be commenting further. Thank you."
News emerged of Ellie's marriage being in trouble last year and the singer appeared to be enjoying time with the former Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith. The pair were spotted together in London after reportedly growing close over their passion for climate change.
