CBB's Sharon Osbourne shares reason she no longer chats to 'snotty' Simon Cowell
Celebrity Big Brother star Sharon Osbourne has revealed she no longer speaks to ‘close pal’ Simon Cowell.
The 71-year-old famously appeared alongside Simon and CBB housemate Louis Walsh as a judge on The X Factor back in the Noughties. But the rock manager, who is married to Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, says they aren’t in touch anymore. Branding music mogul Simon “snotty”, Sharon said he hadn’t contacted either her or Louis ahead of their appearance on ITV’s CBB. She shared: “He would not call Louis or I. He is very, what’s the word? Snotty. Simon just is.
“He has his little posse around him, the same people he’s had for years, and that’s who he talks to. He’s not really one of these guys who’ll be like, ‘Hey great. You’ve given us a call. How are you doing? Yada, yada, yada. He’s not one of those ‘checking in’ on friends to see if you’re doing OK.”
Describing how she, Simon and Louis were once close, Sharon continued: “We were, in the beginning, the three of us, really close friends. But then he kind of left our group and went on. But no, he’s weird as far as friends go. Very, very closed off.”

It comes after reports claimed bosses couldn't afford to keep the outspoken star in for longer. But a representative for Sharon shut down claims she was earning £100,000 a day for her short stint and said it was 'not true.'

Earlier this week, an insider and said Sharon made a 'special deal' with the show's bosses as she didn't want to do the entire run of it. The show insider said: "Sharon didn't fancy the full slog on the show and she knew how much the bosses wanted her, so she made a special deal. She isn't staying for the full show but is still taking home one of the biggest pay cheques." sources said she was top of their list to ensure the new series "has The " and gets off to an exciting start.
Now in her 70s, Sharon says popping up on CBB isn’t part of a plan to revive her career. She said: “I’ve already done it all. I’ve done theatre, I’ve done TV. I’ve done everything I wanted to do. That’s why, with something like CBB, it’s to be enjoyed. It’s a great experience and that’s literally it. I’m just here for the laugh and that’s liberating, very liberating.”
