PS Plus March 2024 Essential games release time – here's when you can play F1 23

PS Plus' newest batch of Essential games is set to release this week, with Sifu, F1 23, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Hello Neighbour 2 set to arrive.

It's that time again, later this week Sony is going to release the next batch of PS Plus Essential games to subscribers. The PS Plus Essential March 2024 is a doozy, with players getting a free bonus in the form of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen alongside the three games included as standard in the subscription. Not only that, one of the games is the kung fu brawler Sifu, which is one of my personal highlights of the PS5 generation so far.

Another huge get for players this month is EA Sports' racing game F1 23. Excellent timing considering that the new Formula 1 season just kicked off over the weekend, with Max Verstappen picking up the win at the Bahrain GP. Plus, F1 24 was just confirmed last week, with a release date of May 31, 2024 which is a lot earlier than the series' typical June/July release window. In short, F1 fans who are subscribed to PS Plus have a lot to be happy about this week.

Rounding out the list is Hello Neighbour 2, which has you investigate the town where the first game took place, in the hopes of finding out more about the original creepy neighbour.

The PS Plus March 2024 Essential games release time is set for 10am GMT / 5am EST / 2am PST on Tuesday, March 5, and is when Sifu, F1 23, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Hello Neighbour 2 will be available for PS Plus subscribers.

The PS Plus section on the PlayStation website may take a while to update and show these titles as available for PS4 and PS5 consoles. However, if you head onto the PlayStation Store and search for the games individually, you can redeem them. When a new batch of PS Plus Essential titles arrive, the previous offering will become unavailable for good, so you'll need to grab the PS Plus Essential February 2024 games – Foamstars, Steelrising, and the excellent Rollerdrome – before then.

These games will remain available on PS Plus Essential until Tuesday, April 2, when the PS Plus April 2024 Essential free games will arrive.
