A new week means a new series of outfits styled by Frankie Bridge for her weekly high-street fashion drop. And this week, the Loose Women panellist shared a number of ensembles inspired by nine women who she looks up to when it comes to style in celebration of International Women's Day, including the likes of Fearne Cotton and Abisola Omole.

We quickly fell in love with one item from Mango she posted that is a classic spring-time staple everyone needs in their wardrobe: a trench coat.

Sharing the various looks on her Instagram, the mum-of-two captioned a video in which she modelled skirts, shirts and coats from the likes of H&M, Mango, River Island and New Look and said: "If you’re subscribed to my mailer then you’ll know that we’re celebrating International Women’s Day early, with my top 9 women who are inspiring my style right now.

"Not only do I love these women’s personal style, I admire their achievements personally and professionally! I’d really recommend checking out their accounts if you’re looking for some style inspo or want to follow the amazing things they’re doing!"

And one look we are totally obsessed with is inspired by Abisola Omole and consists of a black satin bias skirt from New Look, £22.49, a £30 'clean cut' white tee from COS, a black shoulder bag from H&M, £18.99, some camel-coloured leather look ballerina pumps (£17.99), also from New Look and a light-beige oversized trench coat from Mango (available on ASOS).

Speaking about this particular ensemble and woman, Frankie said: "Abi wears minimalist pieces with such style. She is an expert at incorporating colour to her wardrobe in a chic and versatile way. If you haven't got a black slip skirt in your wardrobe yet then this is the one you need!!

"An amazing price and great fit. Pair it with other staple pieces in your wardrobe like a white tshirt and trench."

We think this gorgeous £100 trench coat brings this whole look together with its chic, tailored finish and timeless details. The notch collar makes the coat look super elegant as does the layered back while the dark tortoise shell buttons are a lovely contrast to the pale colour. With a belt to cinch in the waist and pockets to make it lovely and practical, this coat is a timeless wardrobe staple that instantly elevates an outfit.

What's even better is that this longline cotton-blend trench is water repellent - meaning you don't have to forgo style when its raining, although don't forgot your brolly to keep your hair in tact. Plus it's inner lining ensures you keep warm. If you want a more relaxed fit, you can remove the belt for a less structured look.

Available on Mango in sizes XXS to 4XL and on ASOS sizes six to 14, the £100 double breasted oversized trench will be the perfect transitional coat from wintery weather into the spring months with room for a jumper or plain tee underneath.

While it's an investment piece worth splashing out on, we get that £100 on ASOS may be a little steep in terms of cost. Thankfully, the high street is pretty in sync with the trench coat trend, so it's a style that's pretty much everywhere. For example, New Look has an abundance of trench coats for less than £60 - we tried out several of them, including this gorgeous Light Brown Suedette Belted Trench Coat for £54.99. Marks & Spencer's Cotton Rich Belted Longline Trench Coat is £79 and has been hailed for being a classic trench that is very flattering and "looks more expensive than what it costs".
