Paul McCartney was reunited with his former the Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr this week when they were at his daughter Stella McCartney's latest fashion show.

There was a presentation by fashion designer Stella, 52, in Paris on Monday. The new show was part of Paris Fashion Week, which is held semi-annually in the capital of France, and there were a couple of celebrities in the audience.

This included her father Paul, 81, and his former bandmate Ringo, 83. The pair are the only surviving members of the Beatles' best known line-up, with John Lennon and George Harrison having passed away in 1980 and 2001 respectively.

Whilst at the runway show this week, Paul and Ringo posed for photos together. Some included their respective wives Nancy Shevell, 64, and Barbara Bach, 76, who had joined the Brit Award winners for the special occasion.

Paul was seen wearing a white shirt underneath a dark waistcoat and jacket at the event. His outfit also included a pair of navy trousers and he accessorised with some brown sunglasses. His wife Nancy instead wore a multicoloured dress that she had paired with a lengthy beige coat.

Ringo donned a black t-shirt with a matching jacket and trousers. He decided to wear a pair of sunglasses too and further accessorised with a necklace that featured a peace sign. His wife Barbara coordinated in a black top, jacket and trousers for the fashion show in France.

Paul and Ringo sat beside Paris Jackson, 25, at the show. Paris - who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson - also posed with actor Jameela Jamil and Måneskin's Victoria De Angelis, who were also at the star-studded event.

The fashion show follows the news that acclaimed director Sam Mendes will release four films about the Beatles in what's been described as an "ambitious" new project. It was announced just a couple of weeks ago.

It's been teased that each film will tell their story through the eyes of a different member of the band. It's hoped that they will be ready to screen in 2027 and a producer's shared that the plan is to provide an "epic cinematic experience".

Sam - who's worked on films like Skyfall (2012) and 1917 (2019) - said that he is "honoured" to be involved. He said amid the announcement: "I'm honoured to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies."

His producing partner Pippa Harris teased: "We intend this to be a uniquely thrilling, and epic cinematic experience: four films, told from four different perspectives which tell a single story about the most celebrated band of all time."
