Dancing On Ice viewers called out the judges' comments on Sunday night, as they ranked the final contestants in order.

Judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill were tasked with scoring each semi-finalist from one to five as they performed a solo skate together in a group performance. Miles Nazaire and Vanessa Bauer, Ryan Thomas and Amani Fancy, Adele Roberts and Mark Hanretty, Amber Davies and Simon Proulx-Sénécal and Greg Rutherford and Vanessa James were the last five couples remaining, all taking to the rink in the semi-final on Sunday night.

But as the five celebrities went onto the rink without their pro skating partners, they had to skate solo. The panel then chose which of the five were at the top and who was at the bottom.

It was Love Island star Amber who came last leaving her visibly gutted, after almost leaving the show last week. But viewers watching at home did not agree with her being placed last, calling out the judges' decision.

Taking to X, one fan posted: "That single skate from @Amber_Davies7 that was amazing, you did amazing," as another wrote: "Wtf Amber did way better." A third posted: "Not been her biggest fan but Amber was clearly one of the best, not the worst, in that solo routine."

Another fan agreed with this, joking: "Amber last? jane and chris you will see me in your nightmares." Meanwhile others guessed Amber would be sent home after the decision, with one posting: "Quite clear who is the weakest link, amber to go tonight."

Last week, hosts Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby confirmed all the celebrities would be doing two skates including a flying skate. It had been a regular staple on the show for multiple series, giving some incredible dances in past episodes but it hasn't been seen on the show as a theme for a long time now, with fans divided about its return.

Some fans were happy to see it back, with one writing: " #DancingOnIce are bringing back the flying skate! This is the best news," whilst a second added: "Ahhh they’re bringing back flying next week!! My favourite thing that they used to do #DancingOnIce."

A fifth took to Twitter to share their thoughts as they penned: "Controversial, but I’m so excited they’re bringing back the flying. I know a lot hated it but if it’s done right it looks good #DancingOnIce."

However, others didn't seem keen by the returning element, with one writing: "I never really liked flying routines just seemed like too much of a gimmick #DancingOnIce," as another took to Twitter to share their thoughts about the possibility: "flying week is a blast from the past, must admit it’s fairer at least but I’ll weirdly miss props week #dancingonice."
