Princess of pop, style icon - the highest-selling Australian female artist of all time - there’s no denying Kylie Minogue has got it all going on. The 55-year-old singer, songwriter and actress has come a long way since she first appeared on our TV screens as Charlene in Neighbours in 1986, before launching her pop career with top 10 singles such as The Loco-Motion and I Should Be So Lucky in the early 90s. As she gets ready to perform at the Brits this Saturday, we take a look back at her career and work out just how much she has earned from her staggering success.

Kylie Minogue is no stranger to success; she's won two Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards and sold more than 80 million records worldwide and on Saturday, March 2 she'll be lighting up our screens once again when she picks up the prestigious Brits Global Icon award to add her impressive collection. The Icon award is a big deal - meaning Kylie will be joining previous winners like Elton John (2014), David Bowie (2016) and Robbie Williams in 2017.

And Kylie who is herself a global style icon says she is looking forward to returning to British shores: "The UK has always been a home from home, so the Brits have a very special place in my heart. I have some amazing memories from the awards over the years and I can’t wait to be back on the Brits stage. See you at the O2!”

Considering she has enjoyed more than four decades in the spotlight; it's no wonder Kylie has a staggering net worth reported to be $120 million (£94,801,200). But it's not just her music career that has earned her a fortune. Alongside the occasional acting gig, Kylie makes money from brand endorsements and has enjoyed success from business ventures selling perfume, books, home furnishings, clothing, and wine - selling seven million bottles in 2022.

One of her most famous hits is I Should Be So Lucky – but Kylie has been anything but lucky when it comes to her own love life. She dated Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan in the 1980s both on and off screen but the couple broke the nation's heart when they split after three years. She also grabbed the headlines when she dated INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and former model James Gooding.

In 2003 she was romantically involved with French actor Olivier Martinez who supported Kylie as she received her devastating breast cancer diagnosis. She received the news at the age of just 36 a couple of years into their relationship in 2005.

As of 2024, Kylie is not in a relationship. The Padam Padam singer recently broke up with Paul Solomons and has not publicly dated anyone since. A source close to former GQ executive Paul claimed the split was down to them living in different countries and that the pair "just couldn't make things work."

Despite her rocky relationships, her career is going from strength to strength - in November, she kicked off her Las Vegas residency, More Than Just a Residency, at the Voltaire Club in a deal that reportedly earns her around $1 million per show. She has since been granted lifetime residency which means she can perform there whenever her schedule allows. Kylie is the first and only singer to be given lifetime residency.

The Brit Awards are on ITV on Saturday, March 2.
