McDonald's has revived one of its most beloved burgers just in time for Easter, and fans are (ba da ba ba ba) lovin' it.

The fast food giant revealed its latest menu shakeup last, which hit stores nationwide today (March 13). Three new Easter-themed items have made their debut, which will be well received by any hot cross bun lovers out there.

Customers can also expect the temporary return of three previously axed items that are full of 'feel-good nostalgic flavours'. But don't get your hopes up too much, as these will only be available for a limited time.

The Mirror can confirm the McCrispy Deluxe has made a triumphant return to stores - after it was unforgettably pulled from menus last year. The burger, priced at £5.89, features 100 per cent chicken spread, hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion compote, lettuce, bacon, red onions and a slice of cheddar cheese.

It will join other golden oldies including Halloumi Fries (£2.79) and the iconic Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry (£2.19) which have also been brought back from the dead during the Easter period. The chain has not confirmed how long its Easter range will remain in stores.

Then there's the Hot Cross Bun Latte (£2.69) - which is sweetened with Hot Cross Bun flavour syrup, cinnamon cream and a Hot Cross Bun flavour dusting.

Lastly, a new Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry has graced the menu. The soft dairy ice cream is served with pieces of Galaxy Truffle bunny ears, white and dark chocolate drops, and Galaxy chocolate sauce. McDonald's describes the sweet treat as its most 'adorable' ice cream yet.
