TOWIE's Dan Edgar breaks silence on new co-star romance and ex Amber's reaction
The Only Way Is Essex Dan Edgar has opened up about his new romance with fellow cast member Ella Rae Wise.
The reality TV star's new relationship comes after his break up with Amber Turner last year. According to reports, 33-year-old Dan and 23-year-old Ella became close during a TOWIE group trip to Bali and have been smitten ever since - despite previously clashing and rowing on the ITV show.
You might remember a few years back, when Ella accused her now-boyfriend Dan of behaving "inappropriately" during a night out. This led to a big argument between Ella and Amber, with Amber saying that Ella had "lied." Fast forward to now, and things seem peaceful between the three. Amber has even responded positively to the news about Dan's new relationship.

His ex Amber has also moved on since their split (amberturnerx /Instagram)When talking to The Sun about his relationship with Ella, Dan stated: "We [were] away together [and] we are two of the only single people on the show. It has just naturally happened out here. It is early... it isn't anything deep." He further added that there were previous issues but that they've since made up and are now friends again.
As for Amber's reaction, he added: "[Amber] has moved country. She is seeing someone else." He also noted that Amber briefly mentioned Ella to him and reassured him she's fine with everything. Amber has excitedly announced she's coming back to TOWIE and told everyone by sharing a snap from Bali on Instagram, saying "Touch down, Bali," before tagging the show.

Dan and Amber had some big arguments on the last series of TOWIE after they broke up in May 2023. Dan talked to OK! magazine about their split, saying it was tough but "for the best." He explained why they ended things: "There have been things that haven't been right for a long time. We tried it, and at the end of the day, it didn't work." Dan also said he tried to change a lot: "There were a lot of changes I tried to make stuff I was making an effort with. It's easy on the surface to look at things and think, 'Everything looks fine,' but there was a lot going on behind the scenes."
