Disney+ deals this 2024 to get 12-month subscription for free
Disney+ has become a must-have streaming service filled with TV series, documentaries, and films from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar creators ...including the highly raved-about new series The Bear. Although, among its popular must-watch content the provider has raised eyebrows with its updated pricing.
Finding a deal is crucial for viewers and it's why we've combined a round-up of deals which could give Disney fans months of streaming for absolutely free. Yes, that's right, you won't pay a penny.
Another huge new deal is its £1.99 price drop, between February 29 and March 14 2024 all eager viewers can sign up for a plan for less than £2 - getting you access to its hit shows on a Standard with Ads plan for just £5.97 across the three months instead of the usual £14.97. Once the deal ends all subscribers will pay the usual £4.99 a month rate, but you can choose to cancel and opt out before.

It comes as many fans of the site, who have previously been locked into an annual upfront plan, face higher prices now that their subscription is coming to an end. In November 2023 the annual price rose from £80 a year to its current £109.50 this 2024 leaving many viewers searching for a cheaper way to watch.

Shōgun has finally launched on Disney+
Before we get into the prices let's look at one of the biggest series that's just become available to watch on the streaming site, the long-awaited Shōgun 10-parter from james Clavell's 1975 novel. As our TV expert Jake Hackney laid out all the details.

He said: "The epic drama stars British Peaky Blinders actor Cosmo Jarvis alongside a decorated Japanese cast including John Wick: Chapter 4’s Hiroyuki Sanada and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters star Anna Sawai. It is loosely inspired by the true story of English navigator William Adams, the first Westerner to set foot in Japan who eventually became a samurai.
"It is told from the perspective of English sailor John Blackthorne, who rises from outsider to samurai while being used as a pawn in Lord Yoshii Toranaga’s struggle to reach the top of the ruling chain – or Shōgun."

Samsung is one tech provider that consistently partners with the streaming service which is why many users will be aware that their shiny new devices come with Disney+ already installed. And it goes a step further, offering free subscriptions with the purchase of certain devices.
Including th quirky Galaxy Z5 range which includes the Z Flip5 and the ZFold 5, new shoppers will get 12 months of Disney+ for completely free. What happens when it runs out? Not to worry, as you can leave without being tied into a plan.
The newest Galaxy S24 range is also included, with all three handsets (the S24, S24+, and S24Ultra) coming with an option to pick the free subsctiption - a perk that'll save viewers a huge £109.90 a year. Older models like the Galaxy S22 is also on the list, and device users can get up to six months free. Not too bad considering it has since been overshadowed by the S23 range.

Monthly O2 bill payers can also get a six-month subscription of Disney+ for free too, and unlike forking out thousands on the latest Galaxy phone this one is a lot more affordable. The monthly amount of data you choose will dictate how many months free you get.
The highest amount on offer is on its Plus Plan SIM-only deals which include its £22.99 a month 150GB plan and its £27.99 a month unlimited data plan. There are also six months of free Disney+ available to add on its 250GB SIM-only plan but at £25 a month.

Once you've chosen your plan all you need to do is add Disney+ as your chosen extra (Apple Music and Audible are also options). Although it's branded as an added extra, O2 cover all of the costs making it completely free.

Disney+ currently costs £7.99 a month for the mid-range standard tariff, which will get you 1080p Full HD quality and access for up to two people. You can download your favourite content on this plan and watch ad-free. The Premium Plan costs a higher £10.99 a month while there is a budget option at £4.99 for those who don't mind watching with adverts.
However, those on either the £7.99 or £10.99 a month plans can actually get a 12 month subscription for the price of 10 months if they buy an annual plan upfront. For example, on the standard £7.99 a month plan you'll pay £79.90 overall (equivalent to 10 months) instead of £95.88.
Don't mind adverts? Pay £4.99 a month for 'Standard with Ads' plan
This is one for all fans to keep their eyes peeled for, this 2024 the site has introduced a £4.99 a month plan. For this price viewers have to commit to watching a few adverts inbetween their movies, series and documentaries.
The platform only launched this new plan in November 2023 so it's not been around too long, the only catch is you can't pay for an annual plan upfront, unlike the standard and premium tarrifs.

2. When you've completed your order look out for a confirmation email.
3. If you placed your order in the app, your partner code will appear in the 'My Rewards' section within 15 minutes.
