The PS Plus March 2024 Essential games lineup will be revealed this week, here's when we'll find out which games will feature, and which games we think have a chance of being included.

It's that time again! Sony will soon reveal what games will be gracing the PS Plus Essential games lineup this month. Assuming PlayStation doesn't suddenly revamp the entire service this week – PS4 and PS5 owners will treated to three new games to redeem, download, and keep, as long as they remain subscribers. While the titles included are usually games that have been available for some time, subscribers occasionally get a brand-new game as part of their subscription, like in the PS Plus Essential February 2024 lineup, which included the new Square Enix shooter Foamstars day one.

But what games are stepping up to the plate this month? We won't know for sure until Sony reveals the lineup, but that won't stop us from guessing. The PS Plus March 2023 games were headlined by Battlefield 2042 – which was released in October 2021 – so if we push things forward a year, we're looking at October 2022 for our guesses. The games that stick out to us as potential PS Plus candidates from this window are Sonic Frontiers, No More Heroes 3, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, and Persona 5 Royal.

PS Plus Essential March 2024 lineup reveal time

The PS Plus Essential games lineup is confirmed at the same time every month, that being the final Wednesday of the prior month (or the first Wednesday of the month if it starts on a Wednesday). This means that the PS Plus March 2024 Essential games lineup reveal time is 4.30pm GMT / 12:30pm EST / 9:30am PST on Wednesday, February 28, with the games set to be confirmed via a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The announced games will then become available to download the following Tuesday, March 5, and remain available for subscribers to redeem until the following month's lineup drops – which will be Tuesday, April 2.

If you want to get this month's lineup of Foamstars, Rollerdrop and Steelrising, you'll need to redeem them before Tuesday, March 5. You don't need to download them to keep them however, simply adding them to your library is enough.
