Woman with 'world's biggest lips' undergoes six procedures in just one day
We're all chasing unrealistic beauty standards in one way or another, but one woman is taking it to the absolute extreme.
Andrea Ivanova, who claims to have "world's biggest lips" after spending an estimated £20,000 on them, has revealed that she recently had six procedures done in one day as an "experiment". The 26-year-old's usual doctor refused to perform the procedures.
She admitted that the six procedures caused her more "pain" than she would usually be in after receiving fillers, but insists she'll be "fine in a few days." Andrea said that she likes the way she looks right now, but wants more enhancements "without a break."
The social media influencer has shared how her transformation goals have caused disruption in her love life, as she's "struggling" to find love due to her extreme look. But that hasn't prevented her from wanting to have the world's biggest lips and cheeks - and she wants even more work done.
Andrea said: "My doctor was afraid to inject more hyaluronic acid into my lips, but I was adamant that I wanted more and I will not stop. I wanted to do six procedures at once, as until now, I always did these on different areas of the face on different days.
Viral sausage roll debate leaves Brits confused about how to order at Greggs"But this time, I wanted to experiment with myself to see how many injections and [amounts of filler] would affect my body. It's quite extreme because I've never had this many injections all in one day before. I've only ever had a maximum of three on my face at the same time."
Because her usual doctor refused to do the procedures, she had to seek someone else out in Germany and spent £830 on the six tweakments. She underwent chin shaping, enlargement and lengthening, jaw shaping and lip augmentation, as well as cheekbone enhancement - all at once.
"I have pain all over my face right now and my jaw and chin hurt a lot", Andrea explained. "It's hard for me to smile because of the pain in my cheekbones and there's a pulling sensation over my face. This is normal after these procedures, as the filler hasn't settled into place yet.
"My lips don't hurt, I only feel a slight discomfort, but that's where I have the most amount of filler and where I've had injections the most amount of times. The more filler there is, the less the area hurts. It's a little hard for me to eat right now, but I'll be fine in a few days."
She added: "I had no fears about having so many injections at once because I trust my doctor and they are a great professional in cosmetic surgery. But they are afraid I'll get necrosis and have to have the tissue surgically removed from my lips if I carry on."
Necrosis is the death of body tissue, according to Medline Plus. It occurs when too little blood flows to the tissue. This can be from injury, radiation, or chemicals. Necrosis cannot be reversed. When large areas of tissue die due to a lack of blood supply, the condition is called gangrene.
Andrea admitted there "are risks involved, such as inflammation, and raised body temperature, especially with so much at once", but this wouldn't stop her, despite 'liking' how she looks right now.
She continued: "I have facial swelling and bruising right now, which is normal, due to the many needles, but I think in a few days, I'll be recovered. I like how I look right now and I definitely want to have more without a break – I'm planning my next one already. You shouldn't judge people for their looks, as it's for their taste and no one has the right to be offended because of it. I think I'm going to carry on doing multiple injections in one day going forward, as it makes me very happy."
