Harry's new Invictus Games programme drops away from Netflix despite £80m deal
Prince Harry's latest documentary has dropped - but not on Netflix.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, is under a five-year deal with the streaming giants worth £80million. However, his latest Invictus Games offering has been set live away from the platform. Instead, it has dropped on Hulu and sees Harry discuss his family and how important the Games are to him.
It's not yet known if the move to release it away from the platform was officially okayed by Netflix. The unannounced one-off show began streaming on the Disney-owned Netflix rivals o Sunday. The show, titled Prince Harry's Mission: Life, Family and the Invictus Games is focused on the recent interview Harry gave to ABC News while he was in Canada ahead of next year's event.

A senior TV news producer told the Mail Online Harry will have had to know about the use of the interview and would have been required to sign a release form in order for ABC to make it into a documentary for Hulu.
There had been rumours previously that Meghan and Harry were hoping to jump ships and partner with Paramount Pictures, but Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria shut down such suggestions. However, a PR expert previously told the Mirror that Bajaria's backing was "fantastic news".
PR expert Ryan McCormick told us earlier this month: Bajaria's comments should have a significant positive impact on The Duke & Duchess' reputation in the entertainment industry. "If one or more of Meghan & Harry's programs or films receive strong viewership as well as critical acclaim, they will gain respect and credibility," he said and suggested they could become a "powerful force in Hollywood" if the projects go down without a hitch.
Speaking at an event in Hollywood to announce Netflix's upcoming projects, he had teased there are a few more things to come from Meghan and Harry, so it remains to be seen if this Hulu release was known.
The Mirror has reached out the Netflix and the Duke of Sussex's representatives for comment.
